It looks like this dose is evening Pearl out so there aren't tremendous drops any longer. I hope it's a good dose for her and we won't need to increase. So far, she is squarely in the BLUE which is incredible for me to see.

Yesterday, I made a comment about this possibly being your "high" dose for Pearl, but she might like to have another increase when the time comes. Or not. She is holding all the cards! Together, you are doing great. Of course I'm over here rooting for some more green like what came so early yesterday!

Your spreadsheet looks good with the mostly matching bookends (pre shot to pre shot numbers), and all numbers down overall. We don't want to rush it all, or it might not "stick"! Patience Pants might me necessary for me too

Hope it's a good day! Does Pearl feel well overall? Give her some extra love today Something I have read and related to, is - remember Pearl is your beautiful kitty and not just a patient! She's way more than her diabetes and health conditions. I know you know that, but sometimes it's easy to focus so much on the diabetes, we can forget they are still their same sweet selves. I might be reminding myself actually!

Does Pearl feel well overall?

Good morning Jan and thanks for your message! Yes, Pearl is starting to behave more like her old self - spending time in her house on the couch which she hasn't occupied for months. Also, her appetite has decreased (she is historically a grazer throughout the day - tiny bits only at one time), so that is also more in line with her normal Pearl behavior.

I do understand 2.75U may not be the top limit - but I sure hope we are close!

Hey all do I need a dose increase in the morning? We are on Cycle 6. Pearl hasn't gotten back to GREEN (except she did have a good run in Cycle 3), solidly in BLUE though. Or perhaps I haven't given it enough time to see if she can make it back to GREEN? She is holding pretty flat lines now though so I don't know if that can be expected? @Marje and Gracie

Let’s see how she does tonight. She has room for an increase but with TR and nadirs under 100, we’d hold the dose 6–10 cycles and she’s just at six tonight. And you started a new pen.

Thanks! Yes, I agree - I can re-evaluate for increase tomorrow morning. If I have another green day today, maybe I should let her continue to work this dose a little bit into the weekend before deciding? Does that sound right, or will she surely need an increase no matter?
