Hello. Moses is good and happy b/c I'm home today. I'm looking forward to getting some good testing in today to see where he's at with this decrease. Should be good.

I know this post is about my kitty, but I'm not feeling so hot. I just had a fight with my dad, we don't get along. And it's distracting me from Moses. Hopefully I'll feel better, I'm going to take a shower and chill out. I'll be back to test in 25 minutes though...blah.

It's OK we all have issues in our lives, & sometimes they can conflict with our care of our furbabies--
Moses is doing great--Check his +6 or +7 to see how the dosecrease is working--It looks very good to me--

Ah, thank you Roni & Moonie, that makes me feel better. :smile: I did take a little longer of a shower than I planned, I got a +6.25.

Okay, back to Moses. Still somewhat a tired boy, although we did play with his mouse for a little bit. His little arms seem more quick and strong now when he smacks. I know this b/c during testing, when he thinks I have a treat, his arms goes swinging and I'm like woah!

I decided to feed him an LC breakfast today for the curve. Typically, when I work, I've been feeding him an MC breakfast b/c of my absence from monitoring. But today, I just wanted to see what it actually would look like with a LC breakfast now that I'm here. It seems a little inconsistent b/c this is the first high AMPS in four days, normally he's around 120.

So all in all, I'm not sure if today would be a good basis to to give him LC breakfasts in the future. Especially since he's dropped 94 points from his AMPS to his +5 today. That could mean he could drop 94 points from typical 121 AMPS with a LC breakfast around peak time to 27! :?

Oh well, it's all a learning experience. Hopefully I made sense and hopefully this data will continue to reveal amazing stuff! cat_pet_icon

Yes, the shower definitely did. Now for lunch, hello Easy Mac!

Moses is such a sleepy boy.... Maybe this is typical cat behavior now. He used to be like this 24/7. But now that I see his energy bursts, I'm like "where'd they go?" And they especially like to occur at night. Specifically, when it's time for bed and blankets are over my head and he climbing all over my body like a billy goat.

Well, it sounds as if Moses has his nights and days turned around...resting during the sunlight hours
and just when you are ready for some quiet sleep...there he is. That was a cute analogy about the billy goat! :lol:
He is such a handsome boy and he is doing so very well!! Good job -- both of you!!

And yes, Moses is both cat and billy goat at night! Ha! I like that too, Pat & Raja & Shadow.

Huh, same PMPS as AMPS, 175. I'm so thankful he's in the blues. I don't like him climbing from 120s to 170s though. It finally hit me today how when Moses first started Lantus, he was in the pinks of 300s! This was probably his normal BG for God only knows how long. And now, he's regularly surfing the blues, perhaps like normal happy (and hungry) kitty range.

It would be great one day if Moses became OTJ. But to know that my cat is finally in a healthy range right now, is the best part. He needs the insulin for now, but maybe one day he won't! Until then, I'll just be thankful.

Erica - you and Moses are doing awesome!!! I have watched your condo's and you have gotten so much more confident and Moses is doing great. Keep up the good work. His numbers are looking goooood. :RAHCAT
