Autumn's keeping him company today while Casey hogs the rope swing down at the lagoon.
Poor momma kitty she must be so confused right now with all the changes in her life right now.

Well she has stopped hissing at me and everything in the room. Seems to have settled on the desk at the window and loving the new Tiki Cat food. Her living conditions have improved. My mother's house was pretty bad and the litter box was always full so the cats did their business everywhere else. She loves her new litterbox. She is a black and tan tortie main coone if you can picture it. She looks funny now because she has pulled all the fur off her neck and she has a bulging stomach but I can definitely feel her backbone. I am taking her to the vet as soon as I know what my tax return is going to look like. It is going to be a rather expensive vet bill. Her son (the orinch boy) has a great new and very loving home.

The tummy sounds like either Bloat from the dry food or parasites namely tape worm. Casey lost most of his belly the first week of being here just from water retention.

Yeah - I fed her several small meals all day long to get her used to not having dry food for grazing. Luckily, my brother fed them at least one can of FF pate foods before he even knew they were low carb. He said that they just really like it. She has bumps on both thyroid glands. I will have to find out if they are benign nodules or cancerous tumors. I let each civvie boy (except Alska) into the room yesterday to see her. She just sat on the desk hissing and growling until they backed out of the room. I looked over the bloodwork for the boy and his numbers were pretty good (bg was 83).
