Probably gonna have to eat my words today about her BG being above 90 at her vet appointment at +1.5. Hopefully the vet doesn't yell at us for her numbers being "low" (even though we know they're perfectly safe).

Thanks! My husband is taking her, he said he thinks it's a vet tech who will be doing the bloodwork so we probably won't even talk to the vet today.

They had to keep Tessa until she pees, hopefully that won't take too long. I hate when she has to stay at the vet, I know it stresses her out.

I have no idea, they always just want to keep her until she pees on her own. My husband is at a doctor's appointment right now but when he's done, I'll ask him to call and see if that's an option so he can pick her up on his way home.

I wonder if it's because her bladder was empty? I remember that she peed this morning and my husband said the vet tech said they needed to give her something so she could pee or something like that. So maybe we're just waiting until there's enough urine for them to collect it.

Poor Tessa is all stressed out. She keeps walking around meowing. I tested her and gave her food as soon as she got home. Hopefully she'll calm down in a bit.

She calmed down quite a bit after we fed her again. I think she was probably pretty hungry when she got home. I'm glad that her numbers came back down pretty quickly.
