Good Morning World! Welcome to Squeaky's Furever Home! Last Condo
AMPS 252
Another yellow AMPS - I increased to a fat 2.0u's this morning to again, TRY to break this sugar streak. We saw blue for a couple of hours day before yesterday, other than that...yucky 200's and 300's. He's really hungry today - has eaten his share of fresh chicken PLUS Snow's PLUS Spike's....piglet! Not nearly as cute as MJ's piglet tho'....
Sir Leo got his FIV/FeLV tests yesterday.....drumroll please.....ALL NEGATIVE!!!! WOO HOO!!!! He can now 'visit' the boys inside the main house! They hadn't seen him since the day I rescued him, a terribly skinny, dirty, sad 2 year old kitty baby. They couldn't believe the difference! He was acting just as calm as could be but his little heart was beating 900mph, breathing was 'huffing' because of it. I wanted vet to listen to his heart as we've had a few 'coughs' that could be several things - allergies, asthma, heart or just dusty smelly litter. Leo wouldn't settle down enough for a listen to do any good. I'll just keep a 'listen' on it too...
Snow actually has LOOSE SKIN on his belly area! After having SO much backed up poop causing him to be stretched tight, it's a bit strange to see. He still LOOKS fat but it's all poofy hair that sticks straight out everywhere.
We've started this year's allergy meds for Schniggles, Sassy and Sasha-the small droolers. Schnigs was sneezing, the other 2 are beginning to scratch themselves heavily. I also noticed Chloe's (one of the big droolers) ear starting to be drainy which is also allergies.
BIG HUGS to all that visit today and extra thoughts and prayers for BigHead Todd who had to go back to emergency vet due to heart problems. Fight sweet boy, Fight - everyone's trying SO hard for you.
