These kitties of ours do seem to want to keep us hanging around with them, usually at the least convenient times. Great numbers for Harley no matter what time of day, though.

Can someone help me...I just want to know that I did ok. Harley is 45 at +6 and I need to leave for work. I left out some gravy mixed with 2% carb food - about 1/4 cup worth. I have to leave in 15 minutes and I don't think any high dose mom is available...can someone help me?

I'd leave out more, but mostly I'm just bumping you up for more eyes.

I am taking a chance that I did ok and am leaving. If someone thinks I should change and give higher food, let me know and I can try and slip home again.

Is he good about eating when alone? I' leave HC and maybe spoon feed gravy before i left. How long before you can get back to check?

Harley is a little unsteady on his feet so I took your advice Ann and left HC food for him. I will not be returning for a couple of hours. I know he will bounce big time but I don't want him to fall any further.

Hey Pattie -

When is Harley's nadir? Emma's is very late in the cycle - somewhere between +9 and +12, so if it were me, and I saw a 45 at +6 I would leave a lot of HC out, just to be safe. The IAA is scary to me - it's hard to tell when you're making a breathrough until it's actually happening.

I believe she shot the full dose this morning before she left for work. When she came home at +6 he was at 45 and she was wondering what she should do.

Thanks to all of you that reponded to my panicky email. I was surprised to see that Harley had fallen that low and I had no time to think about how to stop it...Yeah HC food. I appreciate all of you. He has only risen to 138 at +10. I thought that Harley would be at least 300 by now (knock on wood that he doesn't).

The +#s at lunch time are +6, etc, in your spreadsheet.
 
Great job today, Pattie. I think you're always safe to leave out extra HC food in this kind of situation. The worst that can happen is the numbers will be artificially high but they will come back down.

Glad you made up some more for him before you left! Good job! Sienne is right...the HC food gives an artificial high that doesn't last....looks like you might be doing this a lot from now on...hopefully! I do hope he eats when you are at work...
