Happy Wednesday, ~O)

All is good in Zeusland. He was a purry boy last night. This morning we had a good test, shot, meds etc. he had his first breffis, took a little break and came back to eat from Smokey's dish. Presents left in the LB.

I have the next few days off. I don't have too much planned, just needed to use up some vacation days. I am watching the news with a cup of tea right now, and they are announcing school closings in the area ... Ugh, more snow? I looked outside expecting to see several inches, at least... But didn't, I don't even know if there is an inch of snow on the ground. Hmmm.

Enjoy your days off. It sounds nice and relaxing. Maybe enjoy the snowfall? at least you don't have to be out in it. ;-) Have a good one!

Hi guys .. what a nice number to start the day! And how nice you have a few vacation days to use with no set plans .. those are the best! I bet the back roads are nasty in your area .. that's always the reason our schools are closed .. have a great day guys!

I'm thinking about an increase in the morning.... but 1.25 has proven to be a bit too much, so I'm thinking somewhere between a F1 and 1.25. I'm also wondering if I should be playing with his meal times, or amount fed. He currently gets fed at 6 AM & PM, then I leave frozen food out in the morning (during work days - I don't do this when I'm home) and feed before bed; however, he kind of grazes through to +7 or +8 (in the AM cycle, not sure he really does in the PM cycle though). But if the food gets dry in either cycle he doesn't eat it. I just ordered an auto feeder so that I can try giving him a small snack maybe 3 hours before PS time. My reasoning is that his low numbers are near the AMPS. I could be way off base and just not seeing something that should be really obvious. If anyone has thoughts or suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Hey Kathie - no dose/feeding suggestions from us - I'm actually interested in seeing what others have to say on that. Sometimes I wonder if I should feed later in the cycle myself. Buster doesn't eat later in the PM cycle - too wonderful snuggling with beans in the big warm bed :-D Hope Zeus comes down for you tonight!
 
I might wait for the bounce to clear before increasing. Zeus has been in the 50s and 60s on this dose.

I'm not sure about feeding quite so late in the cycle. You might not want to feed after nadir.

Sienne, Thank you! I guess my feeding question was because he has had lower AMPS numbers and I was wondering about maybe getting those to be a little higher, but I also want those mid cycle tests to come down. I can hold off for a couple more cycles to see what happens.
