Another night of dips but not quite as low as the night before. Still stayed awake just in case…and kept him from free falling. .Hope he settles into this dose soon!
On the brighter side, first change of Libre in 12 days. Could have went 2 more probably but can’t get him in tomorrow and didn’t want to push it till last day. This is a big improvement.

Have a great day!

Hi Deb, those were beautiful blue numbers last night. And so happy for you and Tiger that you got 12 days out of your Libre. Congratulations, that’s wonderful. Hope this is a good dose for him and continues to move him forward into better numbers and feeling better. You’re doing awesome. Hope you guys have a great day:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Deb, I have no clue on how Libre works, we didn't have such a thing back in my day! Does this mean Tiger kept the monitor in place for 12 days so it is just the routine change of the unit at the vet's office? If so, that is great! I hope he shows some movement on this dose, but surfs safely! Please Tiger, come down, but do it gently LOL!:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:Have a great evening!

Hi Ruth, yes he wears a sensor that sends his readings to my phone. I can see his reading at anytime and it saves the data for 12 hours so I can see his nadir for the whole cycle. I was having a time keeping the sensor on, he would lick it and even pull it off. It is put on with adhesive and had a small monofilament that is put under the skin. The shirt covering it really has helped, so far…..it’s supposed to last 14 days max. We have the vet tech put it on but Staci applies it herself on Ivy. It’s a godsend being that his ears don’t really bleed. Even the vet has to get it from a vein.
I want movement too but just wish it was during the day! Last night it was less dramatic than the night before so hopefully he’s settling in with it. Thanks for checking on us, it means a lot!
Have a wonderful night!
