Tested throughout the night and early morning and her 7AM (PSBG) was 184 (10.2).
9AM +2=126
10AM +3 precaution test=122
11AM +4 = 178 after getting a little food 1/2 earlier
After seeing yesterdays numbers rise after the +3 AM mark I decided to give her a quickie 1u dose this morning at 7AM to help with the late cycle high numbers and will to be checking closely to make sure she doesn't go to low. Hypo kit is on standby just in case. Fingers crossed I won't need to use it. I've also been letting her eat a little.
Put a call into the vet and am waiting for a callback to discuss a new dose of maybe 1.25 or 1.5 and these low AM numbers.
Vet called back and said that with Simone now mostly on wet food that I should drop the dose to 1u AM & PM for the next 2 weeks, then do a curve at home to see were the numbers are and I agreed seeing as I've been messing things up a bit. In the meantime I will still be checking the AMPS, PMPS and some in between.
