Yesterday was an interesting day, and I am uncertain what to make of it all. The AM cycle was going along ok, a bit of a yellow spike, before returning to the high blues, and then BAM with that red +11. That was just a tad bit disheartening, even tough I know better. Seems Mr Liver wanted some attention so he made sure everyone knew he was there. :shock: So we had bit of a rainbow day yesterday - just without the green. It's OK, Mannie, you will get it back. Just be sure to tell Mr Liver you are no longer interested in his rather loud and boisterous rendition of "remember me?" Let's put him in his place and get back to business, OK? Right Mannie? Sound like a plan? Is that a head nod I see? Knew you were on board... Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Thank goodness for the new kitty choir, who performed flawlessly this morning! Elsa, this bean is grateful, or I might still be snoozin' :o , and Mannie would have missed his shot :shock: and and and :? ... She still hasn't brought in BJ's signature move, aka the claws to the shoulder, but the meows are all there. YAY! :razz: :-D Such odd weather yesterday! another morning of snow, much to Mannie's dismay: another morning of surveying the yard from the deck. The snow didn't last long, and he was one overjoyed kitty when the sun came out and he could actually patrol the perimeter. :lol: :lol: Now if he would just stop bringing the yard in with him, stuck to his fur, when he comes in.... :roll: :lol: :lol: He must have been very busy with the nanners last night. They were in two separate piles, all stacked on top of one another, with him in the middle. :lol: :lol: And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder (maybe I really do need to get her one of her own), I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

have a great day everyone! We have good weather today - or so they promise! Sure hope so, as I'd like to go on a hike, WOO HOO, and I hope the Nanner King gives me permission. :-D

Hey everybody!! What a day! Tobogganing at Rusty's! We were all glad we had our seat belts - Tess goes so FASTTTTTTTTT! I was so glad to be able to go to Gracie's afterwards... warm up in the sun and stuff. AND.... lizard grillin'! what do you guys wanna do today? Dunes sliding? Hang-gliding? Hiking? race Cars? Skiing at Rusty's? The Beach? I dunno.... anybody got a favorite? Maybe just chllaxin'... let me know - I am ready for anything! ~~ Mannie

Mannie sounds like he was building a fort with his 'nanners. Gettin' in practice for a snowball fight, big fella?
Michelle, it's time now to get Elsa her own automat, and put into it the same food you put into Mannie's. That would be a nice gesture. You could set them to open at the same time!

I hope you'll be able to get out on a hike today. Is there still snow in the mountains? REI is having a clearance sale on all winter equipment. You could go and look at the snowshoes.

Morning Michelle, I have to laugh with Mannie bringing in half the yard with him when he does his trek outside. :lol: I hope he comes down today to some nice blues and safe greens so you can go on a hike.Have a great day.

Mannie, I would say come down south to my beach, but the forecast is rain this afternoon. Tess lives north, and I haven't checked the weather there. What about Gracie's? There is always sun in AZ. See ya later, Mags

The boys are playing on the yellow floor today. Hmmm on yesterday. Luckily today is a new day and nothing is ever predictable in LL! I bet he has some green in store for you soon.

Funny on bringing the yard in with him. Our kitties don't go outside and have no desire to. Charlie, on the other hand, rolls in the grass, which is like hay this time of year. It takes awhile to brush and clean him up to come in every time. I bet Mannie doesn't sit as nice to have his coat wiped down as Charlie does. Dogs are easier to control.

Hi Ella - :lol: You good be right on the fort - that is kinda what it looks like. too funny! maybe he was reliving his latest adventure with Rusty... Ya know... you could be right on Elsa - this game is getting old! if she had her own.... hmmmm... best get one, huh! and yes on the hike - I think I will head on up to Deception pass - it's a great area for hiking in the winter when days are sunny - The views are wonderful! And yes - still snow in the mountain, even at 1800 feet... thought of going there today, but think i will opt for clear trail vs a snowy one... and yes - my thinking on REI - I need snowshoes - sure am missing out on alot of winter stuff without them...

Hi Melissa - Yellow does seem to be the color of the morning. I do so hope they all decide to head to the blue floor. paws crossed... :-D and yes on teh brush down with Mannie - he hates it, so it's a battle to get all that stuff off of him. It's even funnier to watch him try to do it himself. His fur is so long in some spots - it is funny to watch that tongue start to lick those 4" strands of fur - he ends up having to stretch his neck out to reach the end. :lol: :lol:

Mr T! - I know - my fur is kinda a matted mess , which is bad cuz then my bean wants to comb it out, uh noooooo.... not gonna happen. heeheehee - sure was fun though. Tess is speed demon, See you soon - we are off to find a beach! ~~ Mannie

Hi Ann - I wish I knew what the big deal was with the upper floors yesterday - there must have been some mighty fine fuds, or a party....i am glad he decided not to stay up there. I asked him to make sure Tess follows him, or maybe she can show him the way back to the green lagoon... and thanks - I did go somewhere very nice today. Back up to Deception Pass, to hike the trails there. The views are great of all the inlets, passages that go through that area. Had a great time!
