Ladies and gentlekittens we have green! Increase to 2.5u today with AM shot and when I did AMPS I just about crapped myself: 201! Lowest AMPS we've ever seen by a lot.

Did the usual split breakfast with half at shot time and half at +1, and a MC snack at +2.5 when we saw that 66 come in!

60 mins later he is up to 98, nadir tends to land around +4/5 so going to keep testing obviously.

that damn test at +1.5 was so misleading. I was like OH good the few extra carbs at breakfast did the trick, he isn't diving, 209!

about an hour later he's dropped alllllll they way to 66

lol I just about had a heart attack. Wasn't even home, my wife tested him at my request and when I saw my phone ringing I knew she got a number worth an actual phone call but I definitely didn't expect a 66!

@FrostD what a surprise, yesterday's PM cycle was flat yellow

well I think we overdid it on the MC snack at +2.5....need to get better at learning just how much to give and what carb %

+4.5 coming in at 167 so he is rising faster than he should be -- due to that higher carb snack. Oh well, its a learning process.

wish we'd done a better job today flattening that drop, I thought we were doing great when 1.5 hours after shot he was flat at 209. He got a LC snack at that point (FF pate and raw morsel). Few bites.

then....he drops 150 over the next 90 mins wtf Hen! Don't do that to me. Sheesh. I was debating a MC snack at 1.5 but went LC. Guess MC would have been the better choice.

at 2.5 when he had plummeted to 66 he got some 15%, but in hindsight he was given too much maybe. We were concerned, considering nadir was still about two hours away....yikes

would have like to stretch those greens out and then slowly climb through the blues not just rocket up out of there, d'oh

I know I should get a late cycle test one of these days, but I gave his ears a rest this afternoon

he asked for a snack at +9-ish and got some 5% carb ff pate, teaspoon or two.

behavior today was like pre-diagnosis. He came and cuddled with my wife on the couch in the living room (lounge room as she calls it @Bron and Sheba (GA) ) and also sat on my lap on the couch for a while as well which is something he stopped doing shortly before the diabetes was discovered, and hadn't done since until today.

Even though that 66 scared the hell out of us, and we probably over-corrected, it was a great day for Hendrick and family. Thanks everyone
