Good Morning, Everyone,
It's a cold (0 degrees F.) morning here, but sunshine is warming it up. Beautiful day. Rusty wanted us to get up before the alarm this morning, and then went zooming down and up the stairs impatiently waiting for us to get the test done and breakfast served. Good test, shot, and breakfast (Wellness Turkey). Then a nap. Then a weigh-in (16 lbs. 12.5 oz.--lost an ounce Yay). Then a brief play (not yet in the playing mood). Now another nap.
Edward and I have 2 art exhibits to go to this afternoon (2 of our friends are excellent artists and both are represented in the gallery shows), so I won't get out on my skis today, but certainly plan to tomorrow. On Wednesday our group will have it's annual winter picnic (hot dogs, baked beans) at a lean-to on one of the ponds. We ski or snowshoe in (4 miles) and everyone brings 3 sticks of kindling for the fire. It is lots of fun. Weather later this week is supposed to be not too cold, but in the past we have done this picnic in below-zero temperatures.
Wishing you all a good day. Sending sympathy to Serryn on the loss of her friend. Sending good thoughts and healing vines to Sid, Rocket, Vyktor, Scooter, Shanga and to all kitties and beans who may be in need of them.
