Good Morning, Everyone,
Another late start: my coffee maker overflowed (again!) all over the kitchen floor because this idiot bean forgot to pour out the warming water in the carafe before starting the brew cycle! It took an hour to clean up everything (including Rusty's breakfast, which was in his automat, which was under the shelf the coffee maker is on). The coffee even ran down through the beams into the basement!

Anyway! Good Morning!! Rusty had a vomit of his f/d chicken treats last night, shortly after eating them at bedtime (scarf n barf?): whole pieces of treats. So that had to be cleaned off his little green pillow and a towel put down as a substitute. All was fine for the rest of the night. This morning he has eaten all of his breakfast, had his combing, and is relaxing in his perch over the radiator while his mamabean put the sheets and pillowcases in the washing machine, cleaned the livingroom (while I was in "cleaning" mode) and now, finally, is getting to the board.

After the beautiful, not-too-cold day yesterday, we are back in the deep freeze: way below zero at night and daytime highs in the single digits. We hope everyone is staying warm and safe and that you all will have a good day.

What a morning! I'd not be as genial about it as you are.

On the upside, the day has to get better!

Nice start for Rusty. I'm guess he might be on duty in the Lagoon sometime soon.

My Boomer will vomit his dental treats (more treat than dental, I fear) if he gets more than two. Two, ok. Three, pukies. Don't know why. Just is.

Stay warm up there.

You're looking fabulous in the Lagoon today, Rusty :D:D!

Rough start, between the coffee and poor Rusty's scarf-n-barf. I hope things have picked up by now. You stay warm, too, Ella!

Beautiful green Rusty. Oy on the overflow coffee. I had a juicer malfunction last night with beet juice so I feel your pain. Have a great day Ella!

What a way to start the day!

Sounds like a good one to cuddle down w/ a kitteh, who seems intent on keeping you close.

Rusty, how is everything in the deep end of the lagoon? All secure? Good. Now you can patrol the shallows! :D

Ugh on the coffeemaker fiasco! Sounds like something that would happen to me! I believe if you're going to make a mess, make a really big one!

Hope the rest of your day is smoother, Ella, and warm!

Bummer on the scarf and barf and coffee maker fiasco. What a way to start the day. At least the house is cleaner now.;)

Hey Rusty, not too deep today - there's lots of lagoon action and kitties need their Meister in a safe spot to help out.:D

Our damaged hemlock is the shorter one, only about 50 feet tall I think. No bugs here, but it's shallow rooted and now lost roots on one side.

Way to defend your title Rusty :D

I can't believe how far that coffee spread!!! I don't know how those things work but did that mean you didn't even get a cup out of it? Better send Elsa!

Yikes- what a crummy way to start your day Ella!:oops: But Rusty is working that dosecrease very nicely

RE: freeze dried chicken- Do you think this was a once time incident for Rusty? Hope he feels better- you too Ella, that's not a fun way to wake up!

Hi again,
Thanks for the visits and the commiserations! Rusty had a good day, ate all his fuds, no barfs, and had a good play this afternoon (after making a litterbox contribution). He's now in his bed by the radiator, waiting for the evening TV dinner to begin.

The LagoonMeister decided to go up on shore for a while.
