What ancie start today for checks. I so love those blue amps. I hope he surfs well for you today.

I can so relate to the 'thinness". It is that way with Mannie too. H lost alot of weight when he came down with p'titis, and though it slowly is coming back, he still is so much thinner than he used to be. It kinda makes me sad, but then again when I look at him he seems content, does his thing, so I try not too worry too much about it. I hope Checks will regain some. I know he has been through alot lately. Checks: eat up!

too funny when you didn't come quick enough for him. :-D

Hi guys,
Checks, eat your fuds so your mamabean won't worry so. Barb, Rusty is losing some weight, too, but he seems to have regained an appetite, so perhaps Checks will, too. The hyperT meds will help. Is he still taking the pills well? When I talked to Roni the other day she mentionrd that she had a month's supply of the transdermal gel.

I really don't want copies of your Johnny Cash records, but thanks for asking :lol:

Checkers eat up for mama bean, you can do it.
Hard not to worry, but try to enjoy him more than worring about him. < One of the hardest things for me to do, but someone reminded to do that and it was great advise.

Hi Barb. Checkers is starting his day nicely. We have our fingers crossed that he will surf there and maybe venture down to the Lagoon. I hope he has a good appetite. We'll keep Checks in our Prayers.

Hi Barb, I guess Checkers doesn't want to give up his sink drinking, huh! Paws crossed for Checkers to gain some weight. Thanks for stopping by our condo for our crazy morning. :-D Hope Checkers slides down from the pink floor.

I'm not sure that 2 meals can raise bg so high, but I'm suspicious of the new food I gave Checkers this afternoon.
It's Sheba Pate. There's nothing in it though, that should cause a spike so high. It had the same ingredients as FF Pate.

Until I can get nutritional info on it, I don't dare try it again. Too bad; he really liked it.

On the other hand, cats bounce for reasons only they know.. :roll:

HyperT had made Mario thin, too...I know how you feel. Hopefully Checks will regain, now that he's on the meds.

My poor boy has diarrhea again. This is the third time in about a month. I know it's one of the symptoms of hyperT.

On the other hand, maybe the new food disagrees with him.

It could also be, he was having a bad day. He was having trouble getting comfortable on the couch a couple of hours ago.
He walked up the steps to the couch slowly, then circled slowly, to sit/lay.
I gave bupe, and two hours later, he was happily prancing around, and running down the hall. That always makes me teary eyed, because he doesn't feel that way all the time.
I gave baby food with fortiflora for the tummy.
Maybe that's why his bg is so high..feeling unwell.
 
better, especially for so early in the cycle. Have you seen or tried Pinnacle? Tess really likes the Chicken and Oceanfish and it's only 5%. she only gets it as a treat since there is fish though. Precive brand also went over pretty well.

Poor Checkers! Get well soon!
I did try the Sheba but we have the chunks inside, not pete. Tiger loved it & had very smelly & soft stool. He's kinda sensitive with switching around his food but in order to have him eat, I have to try new ones every week or so.
I think the way to do is to add in the new flavor half & half till our cat is okay with it.
