Thought I would post a quick family update. It has been a little over four months since Teddy lost his best friend, Bear Man. Ted has been keeping busy lately helping out with the kitchen renovation that we have had going on for what seems like months, but may only be weeks. He had a trip to the vet this week due to hair loss on his face. It seems that the steroids and Leukeran which keep him in remission from his intestinal lymphoma are affecting his coat and his red blood cells, but his other bloodwork looks pretty good, so we won't be changing things at the moment.

Miss Emily is still doing pretty well on her acupuncture sessions for her arthritis. The vet says that she is her best feline acupuncture patient, maybe even her best patient period! Pinkerton is doing well also.

Things have been hectic, with work and reno and other stuff happening, and the next few weeks will bring a return of the reno contractor as well as visits from DPS as I head for Disney World with my niece and nephew in March. Last year I came back with a set of Mickey ears for Bear Man

Here are some photos of Teddy helping out with the renovation:

I am still a regular lurker here, and try to keep up with the goings on here in LL. I am sending greetings to all of our old and new friends here, and vines to those kitties who are not feeling well.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I have missed seeing Bear Man pictures every Caturday. It's good to see him again. I'm happy to see that Teddy is getting along so well. What a helpful kitty he is.

Have a great time at Disney with the family!

what a great Bear Man family update I have so been enjoying seeing your renovation progress on FB it looks just so beautiful :-D Happy to hear everyone is doing good and have a great time in Disney world never been there maybe one day I will get there ;-)

Nice to hear from you Linda. I see that Teddy is quite curious about this whole renovation thing. Thanks for the pics. I especially love that one of Bear Man with his mickey mouse ears. That is such a great picture. He just looks like he's saying "go ahead take it already". Reminds me of a picture of myself sitting on the pottychair at about 2yrs old with my mickey mouse ears on. :-D

Glad to hear your a regular lurker.

Have a nice night.

Great to hear from you. I'm glad Teddy, Miss Emily and Pinkerton are doing so well. I'm sure Teddy still misses Bear Man, as do you.

Have a great time at Walt Disney World. The pictures are wonderful. What a good construction supervisor Teddy makes!

Nice to get an update. I've been following Teddys kitchen supervisor job on fb and he's doing great. Have a wonderful time at Disney.

Teddy really is in there helping with the renovations isn't he - cute!!!

The picture of your Bear Man made me smile. He didn't look impressed. Adorable picture.

Bear Man in his ears would make a good caption contest. I think he's thinking, "well, at least their not pink." Glad to hear the furbies are all doing well, I'm sure you'll be glad when your kitchen's done. Can't they have it finished while you're away? That would be nice to come home to.

Awwww. Nice to see you Linda.
Sure inspector (or foreman?) Teddy is doing a great job for you. Love it when they "help".

Enjoy Disney. My family took me for my 40th last year to cheer me up ('cause I still can't get over turning 40) and it was just awesome. There is no happier place :-D

Nice to see you, Linda, and glad to hear you are getting help in the kitchen.

It is good to see pictures of Bear Man. Does my heart good.

Hey Ted, I didn't know you were a supervisor. Make sure they do the job right, man! Can you take a few days off? I'm going to NYC tomorrow and it would be great if you could come and hang out with me and the other kitties. I miss you, pal.

Hi Linda, Nice to see that the Bear Man Family is doing well. Have a great time visiting Disney World. That pic of Bear Man in his hat is priceless.

Have a good rest-of-the-weekend,

All hail the Bearman, flying free. He visited the other day, Linda, did I tell you? He was hanging out by the birdhouse spooking the squirrel who thought it was going nuts with all the weird bearish inklings it was getting. After wards he had a nap on the big boulder next to the waterfall. His whiskers looked like pure gold in the sunlight. I saw the sparkles and I knew it was him - and besides, the Magpie told me she'd been watching him, and he even let her nap beside him.

Our hearts go out to the great losses of LL. The Bear Man's loss, a few months ago, and most recently, Meowzi's passing. Still - we are blessed, all of us, to be living alongside these breathtaking creatures. Many LL kitties touched many, many hearts, and touching hearts means changing them, filling them with light, and slowly, quietly, gracefully changing the world. Thank You to all the glorious LL kitties, GA and still (sugar-)dancing, for brightening dark places as you do. A special Thank You to Bear Man of course - this is after all, his family condo - for making blue flowers grow in the shadows.

Hey Linda - wonderful to have a bear man family update condo. :-D :-D

I have so enjoyed the photos of your reno on FB. It was good to see that Teddy took his supervisor job seriously, and kept them all in line. What fun he is.

Enjoy Disney world. It should be such a great trip. Have a very good time.

And to jane: your post is wonderful.
