Georgia and Simon (GA)

Simon seems to like the low 100's first thing in the morning. Yesterday, he had a great run of mostly greens so I am a happy mamabean.
I have to tell you about my wonderful evening last night -- it is now funny after the fact. I was making some soup for my weekend away, and was cooking garlic in olive oil when a piece of hot garlic popped out of the pan and hit me in my eye (on my eyeball!). I had to run and put my head under the sink for 10 minutes because my eye was burning terribly! Luckily, it looks ok this morning except for a little burned spot on my inside eyelid. Oh, and I also could have burned the house down because in my sprint to the bathroom, I forgot to take the pan off the stove. And that is not all. When I went to test Simon last night before bed, I pricked his ear and it was one of those gushing blood pricks. Well, Simon then decided to shake his head and a big drop of blood flew in my other eye! What a night I had. Luckily, I am leaving today to go to the N. Georgia Mountains for some rest and relaxation with some friends. My DH is in charge of Simon but he doesn't know how to post. Hopefullly, he will be ok and I think Simon is in good hands.
I'll probably get one more test in before I leave. Have a great weekend!
