We made it through the first year (since his DKA)...this has felt like a huge milestone and I feel great relief!

He's not getting as many greens as I would like, but maybe I need to do more testing at +5

yes sure. Ive just done one and I'll do another in a coupe of hours. I was expecting him to be lower as hes up and about and super hungry.

I couldnt get one earlier than +8 as he was under the bed again. I only really like to test then when absolutely necessary as its a huge breach of trust and has ramifications- ie everything becomes more difficult and time consuming because he is nervous and loses trust in me, Hes been more unsettled with me since nephews coming and going so trying to do all I can to clam everything......
