Hello All - I haven't been keeping up my posts. I seem to be somewhat suspended in animation & without energy as we prepare to have Acro treatment in Colorado. There is so much to do to get the home organized so Dad can hold the fort down with out other 3 kitties while I am gone. I've got a helper coming in to do subQ fluids & meds for 2 of them. Dad has not mastered that assignment. He does have food, LB & hugs down pretty good. My sister is flying out from Texas this Friday & we will leave on our road trip Saturday morn just after AM shoot. Since we don't have kids, I can only imagine what it is like to travel with an infant and I am thinking this kitty situation is even more involved. In fact, I could probably use a station wagon if I had one!
I want to post a daily diary of our experience & I am thinking I should do that on the Acromegaly/IAA/Cushings Cats subforum. The Acro Mom's also have the
AcroCat Message Board (ACMB) & a Facebook group, so I need to figure out how to easily & efficiently cross-reference. Any suggestions & ideas?? Logostics, logistics...Because I started with the Lantus Lands folks & I am sentimental to begin with anyway, I feel a kindred relationship to this group. But as Lanky's situation has evolved, so much has changed, we really don't fit in much anymore with LL. And, again I am just so exhausted, I have to just focus on the next 2 weeks.
In the meantime, I sure wish we could see some blue, none so far to date with Levemir.
And, I wish all the kitties in LL can get to the Falls & enjoy the life they deserve. Have a good evening everyone.
