Good morning :)

It was lovely to have a green +3 yesterday PM and AMPS today but it's over this morning. A bounce from yesterday's low or just his usual +3 bump?? I guess I'll have to wait for a couple of cycles.

Tried the auto feeder last night for the first time. The idea was that I'll set it to 22:30, his +3 time, he'll hear the sound of the feeder opening up and I'll place him next to it to eat after the test.

Fistuk was on the bed next to me and Robert and Prince in the Kitchen, the other side of the house. I was fighting a tummy bug yesterday and was half conscious on the bed. When the feeder opened up Robert shouted in alarm "what was that??", Prince stood up, his ears sharp like 5G antennas and I was brought up from the dead. And the only one who didn't move even one eyelash?? Fistuk :p:p:p

He was deeply asleep and couldn't give a dicky bird about the feeder's noise. I woke him up, tested him and moved him to the plate to eat from the feeder. He had two licks and left. Picked him up again to the plate, same thing. On the third time he just left to hide in the bathroom!

I'm afraid I know Fistuk too well and none of this surprises me. I will give it a go a few times more but I'm not pinning any hopes on this. I wish I could sleep so deeply and peacefully as Fistuk does. It's a talent.

Nice cycles yesterday ;) He likes the little bump at +3 so maybe that's what it is today.

Thanks, Kit :) I'm better today but still very weak and achey from the fever. I called in sick for work tomorrow.
I think I'm going to start testing +4.
He's come down nicely for +6.

Hi Shelly, you are so funny, gave me a good laugh. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Glad you're taking the day off tomorrow so you can rest up.
Good luck with the feeder again. I'm just like Fistuk, a bomb could go off right next to me and I wouldn't even wake up.

Thanks, Diane. I was very weak today and slept most of the day and your deep sleep buddy was right next to me :joyful:
I used to sleep that strong but after menopause my sleep has become lighter. Bt the way he disappeared into sleep last night was so characteristic of Fistuk :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm very happy to see Fistuk's green PMPS. I wonder if that raise yesterday just jogged him pancreatic memory and now we'll have less blues.
We had such a lovely sunny day it was a shame to not be able to go outside. But I shook Fistuk from his sleep at some point so he could catch some sun

I hope you’re feeling better. Sorry to hear you felt crappy yesterday.

I’ll be interested to hear if he gets any more interested in the feeder. Maybe it will take repeated use so he gets used to it? I hope so. :rolleyes:

He is so adorable, Shelly. I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well -- what a good boy he is to stay with you and keep you company. I'm glad at least one of you got a good night's sleep. Great to see that he's made it back to the greens this afternoon, and I hope he'll stay there for a while.

Thanks, Staci. I'm still in bed. Feeling quite weak and not so cheerful. I hope that by this afternoon I'll get better.

I got the feeder because everyone was raving about it but I don't have high hopes. I def won't put it in the bedroom because it's so noisy and it'll wake me up at night. Fistuk sleeps with us most nights.
I'll try it a few more times when I'm feeling better.

Tonight he slept through which was really great. I could get some proper rest. He's developed a new habit of sleeping by my feet on the duvet. Make it a bit more difficult to turn during the night but we manage :joyful::bighug::bighug:
