**Sung to the tune of 'The Girl From Ipanema'

"Short and grey and hairy and handsome, the Binksy-B from Nampa goes walking,
And when he passes, each one he passes goes- Awww.
When he walks, he's like a samba that sways so cool and swings so gentle,
That as he passes, each one he passes says -Ohhh."

Hello, Lantus Ladies, gents...and kitters!

Mr B-Butt has been doing wonderfully...tested at a pretty 71 this am...
Never ones to follow a program...we just guess at his 'actual' OTJ count.

I finally have some kitty antics to share, so was going to do a Saturday Binks condo...
but they've been giving me double shifts temping at the mental health facility-
cuz, you know...I'm a "PERFECT FIT for their culture"
Y'all knew that already :-D

And- as I'm not as young as I once was- I get home, feed the critters...and crash hard.
I was bragging about how well my knee held up to the work...but will be attending tomorrow in the funky leg brace...
For those of you who missed it when I posted a picture of my crazy leg brace...
I wanted to re-post MJ's HILARIOUS pictorial response that day...

MJ- you find the BEST pics :-D

So I'll take the lazy route and copy my three's recent antics from a pm I sent to Jan...

The Tortie Girls are NOTORIOUS for stealing and destroying Binksy's toys...their jealousy combined with
their lack of "gentility" just make it a fact of life
He doesn't really care though...he plays with their toys-and he's not possessive.

BUT- his Marilyn Monroe/Jackie Onassis/ Judy Garland memorabilia are displayed in a closed glass cabinet...
he doesn't really play with them, but he KNOWS they're his- and when I take them out for a picture
or to clean...he checks them over. (and there's a catnip cachet inside his Wizard of Oz Makeup Case ;-) )
When i cleaned the other day, the girls were out...and Smudge went for his Pink Feather Boa, while Annie
was sniffing the Ruby Slippers :o

Lil Manxie went MEDIEVAL on them- kicked both their butts all over the living room and finally cornered them
both in the bedroom like a vengeful god   :?  .

Needless to say...after a few hours in frightened solitary
(during which Binks carefully inventoried and rearranged his treasures),
I'm pretty sure they got the Manxie Memo-

PAWS OFF MY CELEBRITY COLLECTION!!! angry(2)_cat

That's my little girlie boy! ;-)

And last but not least...wanted to share a hilarious song with you.
This is from a Texas group called The Trailer Park Troubadours- from their album "Doublewide and Dangerous"
These fellows played for us at a Hastings Entertainment Convention- what an absolute HOOT...
with songs like "Aunt Beulah's Roadkill Overcoat" and "It Ain't Home Til You Take The Wheels Off"

ENJOY! (especially those of you who have ever played croquet) ;-)

Binks and his perpetually amused bean

Oh Celi, you're so funny. I think I need to do some forensic condo research to understand all the jokes ;-)

I'm just glad you have a condo that I can visit!

Hey Celi, they ain't half bad! And it just had to be a bloodhound, didn't it? (that is a bloodhound, isn't it?)

And we are so glad to hear down here in the trailer park capital of the world that you and Binks are still being true to yourselves and are in top form (being that you are not only perpetually amused yourself but keeping all of us that way as well)!

Yeah. Thanks Celi. :-D

I needed a Binksy fix this morning before I go run all my zillion errands. Celi, your words to the Girl from Ipanema is so cute! You are one talented girl. I didn't realize you are working but definitely take it easy with your knee. Loved the music videos, and I especially like the title "Mud Wrassling at Pinky's".

I didn't realize the Binkster was such a diva with all of his wizard of Oz, Judy Garland memorabilia.

Have a wonderful weekend and catch up on your rest.

What an awesome Binks report! I'm still cackling over him protecting his collection!     Torties don't stand a chance!!!

Willie says he's going to have to host a Redneck Kitty Croquet party, with the Troubadors and this band blaring in the back yard:

Have a great weekend, Celi... don't work too hard!!

Celi, what a great condo and reportings on our friend, the Binkster. I'm glad you have a job as I know you've been interviewing, and sorry about the knee though. Nice to hear about the Tortie girls, too. Now I have to go back and listen to Binks' music. :-D Have a wonderful weekend.

Hey Celi & Binks,
I finally made it back to your condo. Wow, you have been busy, busy. It must take quite a while to dust and rearrange Binks's memorabilia. Can you do it sitting down so as not to stress your knee? I'm surprised there's no Dietrich in his collection. Here's a clip to remedy that situation:

Have a great weekend and don't work too hard. Binksy, we are proud of you--OTJ for all those months!

Ah ha! I married a man with an extensive Star Wars collection (he's actually pretty normal  ). Now I have a 7 year old son, so I could say that the Force is with me
I avoided the Star Wars posters in the house--they are in the garage with the one deer trophy he has! That thing scared the bajeebers out of me for months when I walked into the garage!

What a great report and it makes us all so happy to hear what's going on in Cuddville! Yay Binkskabibble...way to show them how it's done.

Hope all the other members of the fam are doing great....job sounds......crazy!

Good to hear all the kitties are doing well.

I've heard that Gin and Juice song many times. I remember when I first hear it thinking oh, nice bluegrassy-type song, sounds good, but wait a minute, what did he say?? :o

Found out later from my son-in-law that was a cover of a Snoop Dog song, oh, makes sense now.

Tell the kitties to keep up the good work.
