Thursday is my school night so I get home late.
+12.8- (7.50) 569
+13.2- (8.20) 540 (Down??!!) and shot 2.75.

+8- 289
+10- 420
+11- and shot 2.75.

High numbers may be from neighborhood kitty crack contraband. Have blocked off access to outside and will wait to see if high numbers go down.
Evidence to support KCC- more thirsty, larger pee pats, eating more, high BG

Will get lab work on her blood today. Home at 1 so I can get nadir :smile: .
 
Good luck today Heather. Hopefully once the crack dealer is out of the picture, better numbers won’t be far behind ohmygod_smile
 
Called vet- nothing in the blood work. So I will go with the assumption it is KCC and bar her access to the outside while i am not at home.
 
I posted on your other thread too. If her numbers were high because of dry food and you increased based on those artificially food induced numbers, she could be getting too much insulin and could go down pretty fast. Watch her numbers carefully today.

Off to rehab she goes. Time get hooked on some canned food! ;-)
 
I look at it as her little kitty friends come up to the door and she follows then to do a day out in the sun. They go over to the closest fast food joint they can find and poor little Sneakers is pressured into eating the non-healthy food. (She's been off of it since Thanksgiving).

Come be our neighbor, he will take Sneakers to fine healthy dining. No fast food joints!

Since she most likely had dry food her numbers could come down fast today. Keep a eye on her.
 
She was named Shaniqua or something that sounded like that by her original owners. My sister saw that they were not taking care of her so brought her back to live with her litter sister that she had and named her Sneakers. By the time she got to me- at age 6, she was always called Sneakers. She does like to, at times, attack sneakers and loafers and other types of foot wear.

I am at home right now, so can do a half curve this afternoon up to her shot. I go out for a couple of hours but will be back by 9. This will be her second cycle without KCC and she likes to hang onto those for a few days (based on her early numbers with people food). I think it will be more like tomorrow afternoon that she will drop the carb influence and I will be here all afternoon to keep an eye on her.
