Simon's AMPS was pretty low this morning for him. When I tested him before I went to bed he was at 72 so I'm a little concerned again that he might have gone really low in the middle of the night. Is there a number that most people will test further before they go to bed and is 72 an ok number as long as I give Simon a little food before I go to bed? Sorry with the questions!!

Anyway, Simon is good this morning, acting as usual. Right now he is sitting on the "testing" blanket which seems to be his spot of choice lately. Have a great day!

I'm not sure. Maverick has never gone low so I take a consistent number for granted and just crash. And then when his amps surprises me so I feel guilty for not testing more through the night.

Looking good Simon

Good morning guys ... You never know, simon could have easily surfed the mid greens all night ... It depends on when mocha would give us the 72 at night .. if it is later in her cycle we would be done testing, but if she gives it to us right at bedtime, we would continue with the spot checks .. but that is just us and mocha is not predictable.

I would have stayed up and got another check in an hour, but I'm a worrywart nailbite_smile and Chaos isn't regulated enough that I'm used to seeing those low numbers. So that's just me and Chaos... you may be seeing a lot of ECID answers on this one. At any rate, Simon looks beautiful in green this morning. I'm sure that his acting as usual eases your mind some. Have a good wednesday!

Re: 2/23 Simon AMPS 87

As long as I knew he was rising I think I'd give a bit of food then catch some shut eye.
Simon could have surfed so don't feel too guilty.

well what a great start for Simon  I also would have gotten another test but you have to remember ECID and big diff between Do Lou and Simon I never know what DL is going to do

Re: 2/23 Simon AMPS 87

Thanks for the input, guys! If his number is low again tonight, I'll try to get another spot check before I go to bed. I have been so under the weather lately, that it has been hard staying up any later.

Re: 2/23 Simon AMPS 87

Morning! i agree with what the others have stated. For Mannie a 72 early in the cycle is a guaranteed stay up and test. If it's late then I usually give him a little food and go to bed. Mannie however is not as nicely regulated as Simon, and 72 is something that I have to watch. you can alwasy leave food out for him if you can't stay up much longer, if you are worried he might go low.

have a great day - Simon's looking fantastic!

Re: 2/23 Simon AMPS 87

Hi, Georgia & Simon.. I think generally you like to see a surf or a rising #.. like others have said ECID, since the 1st test was drop from his PM #, I would have gotten in another test. Just depends.. 72 is not low & Simon appears to be regulated very well, with Baby.. she dives & I have to monitor her, Simon is slow & steady ;-)
Maybe tonight get an extra test in?
Have a great day!
