Scratchie'smom

Happy Saturday Everyone,
Well yesterday was a 'pink floor' day but today is much better! I'll take it!
Just got back from the vet appointment. Dr. Stoker was really impressed with how good Scratchie looks and he has gained back a little of the weight he lost and now is up to 12 lbs. Scratchie is a very long cat (35") from tip of his tail to tip of his front toes and he thinks the weight is good. Loved how shiny and beautiful his coat is and was very impressed with the spreadsheet on the testing and everything from here. :lol: :lol:
We discussed switching to Lev and he really doesn't want me to. He agrees with Marje and Sienne that we just need to get back up to the right dose and then see how it goes. He doesn't want me to start over since Scratchie seems to be so well regulated on food, habits, health etc. He said he will research it and get back to me next week when I have to get his refill on the Lantus.
Teeth - they are really good! He does have 2 that are starting with a tiny bit of tartar - nothing critical and not bad, but I still think I will get that scheduled for sometime next month. DH has to go out of town about this same time next month so I may do it then. No teeth are broken, loose or anything like that. He stated that Scratchie looks much better than he did during the summer. Did I say that already?? We'll do the blood panel when I get his teeth cleaned. He did say that if I do decide to go with Lev then he would wait a while on the teeth cleaning.
