im really glad i did not give 2u yesterday. Her bg is low :c
my sister told me she vomited as soon as i went to work this morning after giving insulin
she vomited a bit of dry food + supplements. it explains her low bg in the evening,
usually her blood sugar drops after she vomits.
I just fed her high calorie treats with a bit of glucose powder.
will update her bg soon

her bg kept going down at 8.3 hrs (her bg increased due to carbs i gave her, but on glucometer the arrow was down meaning her numbers are decreasing)
then it stabilized at 8.8 hrs.
glad i did more tests today! otherwise she might have become hypoglycemic ;-;

Are you routinely giving snacks during the cycles?
PMPS 272

I’m actually trying to reduce snacks she’s a little chonky.. she threw up again at 3am I might stop feeding her prescription diet for now. At first I thought she’s vomiting due to chemo but she only throws up (regurgitates) dry food :c she did not throw up food before

last night (PMPS) she moved while I was still injecting so i had to inject again, I was worried that I might have spilled some but may be i did :c
like I said above she vomited an hour ago..i wonder if there's any correlation between her raised bg and her vomiting, or if it's just dry food allergy/chemo issues

Sophia….please don’t ever give a second dose of insulin if something happens when you are giving the dose.
It is too risky as you don’t know how much could have got in with the first go.
You would be surprised how often the Bg goes down after a “fur” shot.

don't worry Bron! I meant the needle slipped so I poked again to give the full 1.5u, I did not give second dose of insulin. just had to poke twice : ) x
