Ah Lucian. :smile: I do think that those short cycles are just bounces off his lower numbers like this cycle. And I think that you're handling them perfectly by basically "chasing" those numbers. Seems like Lucian is having the longer cycles more frequently, so he's bouncing less....at least that's what I think I see. :smile:

I think he's bouncing off that 79 now. This is why I haven't changed his dose. If I waited till +12 he'd be over 600. I wish he was on BID, sure would make my life easier.
EDIT- this is really bothering me knowing his ability to spike 200+ in 2 hrs. I know he'll be very high at his next PS. Of course, he'll probably make a liar out of me, he does that fairly regularly.
I removed a question about sliding scale dosing because there is no possible way to do that if he doesn't have the duration to begin with. ohmygod_smile
Guess I'm stuck with 'As Needed' dosing until something changes.

As usual, he doesn't do what I expect him to, but that's ok, I'll take that 313 over 500+ any day!

It's 8 to 10 at the moment, seems he's trying to stretch out. The first few cycles, the PZI would literally STOP at 8 hrs and he'd go sky high. So far it has worked for us, but has become a 'shoot as needed' thing. Sometimes 8 hr, sometimes 9, sometimes 10. I just keep testing and when it's safe, I shoot.
Keep in mind, Lucian is unique to the point that there isn't another cat like him. He takes ECID to an extreme. :lol:

Doesn't surprise me, usually when he has a flat cycle, the next one will be 'interesting, to say the least. Used to be, that 2nd cycle would be an all night hypo watch. Been thru many of those.

You have no idea how many cats I've seen go OTJ in 2 weeks to 3 months, while we've been here. I keep showing the posts to Lucian, but it just didn't sink in! :roll:
