C'mon down Cobb, into a nice gentle slide would be so nice for mamabean! And good kitty for not swatting and hissing little Matty
Have a fabulous day all!!!!
hehe i just have to say how much i like to look at Cobb's ss, suzanne.
I use a little netbook, so have to scroll and scroll to get to the current day. so every time i look (which i did just now) i see the incredible success you've had with him. First we have that very unattractive black, then we move to the only slightly less ugly reds, then there's pink, then here comes the yellow, blues and greens . . . and now you've got him nicely controlled with mostly yellow and blue with only a sprinkling of pink.
you should feel very good about this! it's not easy having a higher dose kitty and keeping them in good numbers - i know i had my struggles with punkin - but you're doing it. AND managing a baby at home. i know how tough that alone is and i admire your commitment to taking care of Cobb on top of it all.
Thank you all for the visits today! We are having a NICE slide!
Julie, thank you!! That really means a lot!! I got a bit discouraged with the recent streak of pink, especially after that nice streak of yellow and blue. I know green is the goal, but right now, to keep my stress level down, I gotta go for control the best I can...so blues and yellows are my goal right now - green when I can get it.
I agree with Julie on what a great job you are doing! And I totally agree with your goals. I aim for as much time under renal threshold as I can. Greens are nice, but they aren't what is needed for Neko. I've discovered over time that as long as the dose is getting some greens, I get less bouncing. And Cobb doesn't bounce into red nearly as much as Neko did, so keep up whatever you are doing.
it's true, suzanne. you're doing as good a job as anyone could do - so relax and enjoy Cobb and Matty. your goals are very reasonable. i reminded myself often that i could only control what i can control. punkin's body did what it did - i tried my best. that's all any of us can do.
so go kiss your kitty and son and have a great day!
Thank you! I really appreciate it. And really needed to hear that!
Well, Cobb decided to move on me during tonight's shot. :-x The needle came out and there was still some insulin in it, so I finished the shot. But I had the Lantus smell and his fur was a little wet. We'll see how that translates in the numbers. We got so close to blue today!!
