Good afternoon, LL. DH here. Marje's mom fell and is in the hospital and Marje had to rush back to TX. Everything is ok...nothing broken but in keeping her DM for observation, they discovered her BP was too high so they are trying to get it under control.

Gracie and Tobes have been doing their usual race around the house and chase game. They both miss their momma....especially Tobey. Gracie had a nice, flat blue day yesterday but is bouncing today so I gave her a drop of R. Looks like she wants to stay yellow so I'll just take that opportunity to watch the Daytona 500.

Marje said to be sure and send everyone healing thoughts and vines. Have a great day.

Sending vines for DM. Maybe it was a 'lucky' fall in that she broke nothing and they discovered the BP problem. My DM had one of those a couple of weeks ago. Broke her specs in the fall and the resulting trip to the optometrist discovered too much pressure built up in one eye.

Thanks for stopping by everyone. Marje's mom is in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I told Marje, Mel, and she appreciates your offer. Her DM had a good day. BP is down. She's had issues with her BP for a very long time. Some times it's under control, some times not. Marje thinks if it stays stable tonight, they'll send her home tomorrow.

Great Daytona 500! Wish Marje had been here to watch it with the kitties and me.

Sorry to hear about Marje's DM, but I'm glad nothing was broken and they caught the BP issue. I, too, think it was a "lucky" fall. I hope she's back home soon, where one's BP is always better.

I was going to ask what you thought of the race, but I see you mentioned you enjoyed it. Weren't those last 20 laps something? I have a love/hate relationship with the plate races. I kind of watch them with my hands over my face, peeking through my fingers!! I'm always drained when they're over. I can't imagine how the spouses survive them.

Looks like Gracie's been taking it easy on you. Hopefully she'll let you get some sleep tonight.
