Hi guys! Thought I'd drop in and give you all an update on Mr. Spot. He is doing fabulous on his new dose. He's been on this dose for 17 cycles and we've finally gotten two days of green preshots w/ green spot tests. For a minute there I was worried that the dose wouldn't hold, but my good friend, Dian talked to me and reminded me that I shouldn't get hyper just yet, and she was right.
Spot has put on his zippy pants a few times in the past week, but he doesn't keep them on long. He is, however, doing alot of vocalization about wanting to go outside. With 18" on snow, I don't really think that's a good idea, but a few times I let him outside on the porch w/o his leash and he didn't venture to far, lol. He walked around where there wasn't any snow for about 3 minutes then he was ready to come in. He is very loving. He especially enjoys sitting on my chair w/me when I'm playing on the computer or watching TV. He gets very relaxed and snores up a storm. It's very funny.
Spot continues to be all furry and purry when he's getting his tests and he doesn't leave much, if any in his food dish. He truly believes that he is being starved to death sometimes. After his nini test, he is the first kitty in the bedroom, waiting on the window seat, yelling and yelling until the dish is put down. After all his food is gone, he promptly jumps down and sits next to the bed, looking at the fishy flakes then at me then back to the fishy flakes. Its funny.....if he leaves the room and I want him to come back in, all I have to do is say "FISHY FLAKES" and he's right there. I've created a fishy flake monster, lol
Just so you all know, I have decided not to post daily since nothing really is different w/Spot, and there are so many other folks on the board who need the attention. Also, I have picked up a new respite case, and will be now working Tuesday and Thursday evenings, along with my day job and the respite group every other Sunday, and my one respite case is now scheduled for Friday evenings. I also have lots of OT jobs coming up on the weekends when I don't have my group outing. I will be very limited on the amount of time I spend on the board...although I have been sneaking in during work in the mornings to see how everyone is doing. I will visit condos when I can. Please know that I think about each and every one of you daily...I do glance at post titles to see how everyone is doing, but can't really post to everyone. Miss you guys and hope that everyone's kitties go OTJ or go green!!!
