Good Morning LL! Boy, what a difference fresh insulin made. I'm sure Tess went a little lower last night since she was about the same at +6 an +11, but she doesn't drop a lot in the second half of her cycle. It was nice flat blue and still is. @ off syringes again this morning.I can compensat for the line, what worries me is when some of the insulin goes behind the plunger. I could see that happen as I fine tuned the dose. :evil:

Tuesday is DM day so I won't be around too much.

WCR All 5Ps, Clean Plate Club, the sun is up (barely), sentry points checked and there is a kitty looking for love. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Morning! Tess - job well done - stay on that board today, OK? I s second he new pen thing. It was that way for Mannie too last pen change. Bring in the new and down went the numbers. weird on the syringes - these are monojets? I've never noticed that, but then again I am so sleepy when I give Mannie his shot... I guess I need to pay better/more attention. I have no excuse for the PM one. :roll:

Tess, very nice this morning and let's keep it going, k! I think I sometimes I am off a bit with the microdosing with the MJ's. I toss the bad ones, too! I ordered the new ones for pets but heard some comments on those, too. Have a nice day, Ann.

Hi Ann, I stopped using the box of MJs that had so many "bad" ones and went to a new box and different lot number. What a difference! I've never had the problem of insulin getting behind the plunger with any of the Monojects. And I do look closely (using my "second sight"--i.e., taking off my glasses and holding the syringe up very close to my face).

Tess is hanging onto blue, but just barely. Pretty quiet day here, lunch w/ DM, petfood shopping and a nap! :lol: I had a nice cuddle w/ Tess though. Sorry, Rusty Tess never made it to the lagoon.

%#&#(* When I drew her shot tonight I saw bubble in the new pen already! This whole box has had that problem! i wonder if that has anything to do the higher bouncing she has been doing?

Those are some nicer numbers, love the blues. Drat those bubbles. We've been having problems with bubbles in the monojet syringes lately. Is there some sort of viral bubble outbreak in LL? :roll:

Ann, I am convinced that the bubbles come from the PEN!! I now hold the pen upside down & flick the bubbles inside the pen to float up!!
Blue is beautiful !!!Hope she surf blue & f=goes to green!!

When I opened the new pack I got in January, the first one had a bubble before I did a thing. I called the company and they told me that the bubbles are harmless and are usually caused while the
pens are in transit.

I occasionally get those syringes where the insulin goes below the plunger...I toss them; I'm afraid she might get that extra juice.

Tess...our beans are gone ALL day tomorrow!! Party at our house....quail grilling, sunbathing, catnip patch...BRING YOUR IPAD!!! And guess what???? I don't got to get any pokeys tomorrow!! WOOOOTTTT!!! WEll..at least until tomorrow night! See you tomorrow....we can take the red bus!

Thanks Marge, the bubbles weren't in the pen when I started it. I think the self healing membrane on the end isn't sealing properly. I haven't gotten the duration from these pens that I got before, from pens which didn't develop bubbles. I would think that If you are not supposed to inject air into the pen, air leaking in would be just as bad.
