Running a touch a higher this morning. I think the # may be a little food influenced. I leave out a snack at night for Max, but when I woke up this morning, I heard him licking up the left overs 20 min or so before test time. Max is not the happiest of campers this morning as he had a check-in with the vet. Blood pressure was good and the vet was impressed by Max's #'s on the spreadsheet. Now we're just waiting to for the fructosamine results to come back in a couple days.

Why pay to have a fructosmine test run when you're home testing? It's only going to tell you his average over the last two weeks. Your meter tells you that. Great tool to confirm diagnosis but pretty pointless after that.

I know! It's not expensive, but it's not a cheap test either. The vet wanted to check-in after Max had been on Lantus for 2 months to make sure he's doing good since he's new to being back on insulin. We've talked on the phone to check-in in between and I've dropped his spreadsheet by a couple times. After today, as long as test results come back good, which I think they will, she said to keep up the good work and she wouldn't need to see us again until vaccinations need updating.

You've gotten some pretty fantastic numbers these last few weeks so I think the test results will come back good. ;-) :lol:
