Man, it was one of those mornings. It took four tries to get the dose right. Anyone else have problems with the syringes sticking when you try to make fine adjustments and then finally letting go to squirt too much insulin out? That was my morning. I hate when it happens because with Lantus I have to start over. Oh well, finally got it right. Meanwhile Sarge was dancing by the counter because I was late with the chicken :) He was high and pretty flat from what I can tell yesterday. I used the opportunity to get some groceries pulled in after work ahead of the weekend storm. Such a considerate kitty. I "caught" Sarge and Lobster playing together yesterday. Something I haven't seen in a while :) Happy Friday all!!

Yea on the playing! Love it.

I have trouble with the syringe sometimes. But when I go slow and just "turn the screw" lightly and slowly I have much better success.

That is a really good trick but even it wasn't working yesterday. I am not at all happy with this latest box of Relion syringes. 75% of them are really stiff and you end up fighting them to fine tune a dose. I have wasted a bunch of insulin and this syringes with this batch. Good thing I use calipers because the marking scale is surprisingly off too. If the next box is like this one I might have to switch to something else.
