Simon has been looking nice at .25u and is showing mostly normal numbers. We are just waiting for him to show that he wants another reducie! He is looking healthy: his coat looks nicer in particular. I wonder when Simon will change the game? He hasn't really earned most of his reductions. Many times he did better on less juice when we just reduced him for vacation. I'm contemplating shaving him very slowly lower, but not sure yet.

Today I made a brisket for a big dinner party I have tonight. I had trimmed some fat off and left it in a bowl on the counter. When I came back into the room after tending to some child's need, Simon was dragging a large slab of beef fat across the kitchen floor with the corners of his teeth--slinking back to his den with his catch. At least it was low carb! I let him have a couple of nibbles :-D

if Simon was mine, I would consider taking the dose UP by a drop or two to kick him back into gear. He has been on this dose for 2 weeks and his preshots have not come down on their own. Taking the dose up a notch would probably help pull his whole range down a little bit. You want the preshots to be green too. That should help him get back onto the reduction path.

LOL at Simon and the brisket! Sounds delicious, when's the party? ;-)

It has come and gone, but we still have brisket

We had 6 younger couples here for the kickoff of a newly married church community group. They were SO cute, i.e. "Hi, we're the Does! (Holding hands). DH and I are only 35/36, but one of the younger wives was saying that she's had the same email since elementary school. Well, that made me feel old! They were shocked when I said I sent my first email in my freshman year of college. (I know that some of you on the board would think that makes me seem young as well    )
