Zener had a happy appy this morning and after his enthusiastic breffis, yard patrol and a happy crap dash, his appy turned unhappy. Another morning of crampy tummy. :evil: We switched to the 13% that he loves, did a little tummy massage and he is eating better. UGH numbers to start this cycle, drat that Mr Liver, but he is back on the slide. :razz: Thanks to everyone for visiting Zener's condo yesterday! It was a crazy TGIF so I didn't have time to reply to each of you wonderful people individually. This going back to work is grr_red

Oh, I'm sorry Zener had another crappy appy episode. Hope the tummy rub holds and he eats better for the rest of the day. Looks like a nice slide day, tho! He does his best, doesn't he? Sweet boy. Have a great day ladies!

Hi Anne,

I'm sorry poor Zener isn't having such a hot day today. I hope his tummy stays better and he doesn't have another crappy episode. He looks like he's coming down very nicely so is probably feeling better too.

It is so hard to go back to work after being off for a while! :lol: Good luck getting back in the swing of things.

Hi Anne and Liz, oh no on the crappy appy but glad the tummy massage seemed to help and appy is better. That's always a concern. : Nice to hear Zener did the happy crap dash. :lol: BTW, Mags thanks Detective Poo and Inspector CrapDash for the day off. :lol:

I hope the tummy massage helps Zener's appy be better for the rest of the day. Hopefully he'll keep sliding down for you today.

Bummer on the crappy appy. I hope the massage helps. Poor guy. Luckily he has great beans who are on top of it. Nice blues this evening. The weekends are way too short. Have a great night!!

Nice slide today for the Z-man, I hope they aren't just from not eating. Sorry to be so AWOL lately, just a lot to deal w/ and by evening I'm too blitzed to do much posting.

What a difference a cycle can make - from stinky pinky to cool blue and from crappy to happy appy. BIG hunting was happening right after shot time. Zener was staring at the trumpet bush when I went out to bring him in so beans could have dinner and not be on "cat patrol". When I made a noise, whatever he was watching moved and he lunged toward it.
I think it was a mouse, but I disrupted the hunt. cat(2)_steam

@Anne&Muffin - he often feels better in the evenings, and as requested he stayed on his slide. He works so hard to do everything his beans ask him, he is such a sweetheart. :-D

@Melanie & Racci - his feeling poor days are not nearly as bad as they have been in the past, we just forget sometimes. :roll: Being on sabbatical from May to January was so great, and going back is difficult. Also trying to get up to speed in the middle of the academic year is a challenge.

@Michelle & Scrabble - belly better and he is eating great in the PM cycle. :razz:

@Ann & Maggie - well if we're not worrying about poo in LL, then we're working about pee. :lol: Enjoy your poo holiday!

@carla - sliding into the PM cycle, as requested. ;-)

@Melissa & Mr T - thanks for your kind words on us being on top of things. It's so much easier when he will eat. :cool: You are so right about weekends being too short!

@Ann & Tess - he managed to eat enough as the AM cycle moved on that his slide was not one of the "not eating" slides. No worries about being AWOL. We understand completely and feel the same way! :?

@Wendy & Neko - we have paws crossed the appy stays happy as he didn't get a big food spike at +2. We never really know what may happen. :lol:

OH NO! Disturbing the mouse hunt!!!! Poor Zener! Sorry to hear about the tummy troubles. Glad tummy is better and glad to see some pretty numbers for Zener! Hope you all have a great night!
