Big Bounce. Terra is feeling well, eating and playing well. Ate betwn 1 /4 and 1/2 can this am.
Not drinking like crazy, which I think goes w/the high blood sugars. Will test for ketones when able.

Oh Terra....silly kitty....you don't want to be joining those cats up in the pink club today! It is Ground Hog Day and time to go see if Buckeye Chuck will see his shadow or not. Spring is one it's way!!!! Come on down and give you bean a break!

Okay, what gives? I expected to see numbers going in the "DOWN" direction, not up, at 3 hours after the shot. Is this new dose wonkiness, a bounce, or??
 
Hi Karen- I'm still new and certainly no expert, but looking at Terra's numbers yesterday, I'd think this was a bounce. My Atticus is doing the same thing today. Also, if she's been eating since her shot, you may be seeing an inflated number from a food spike. I try to test at least an hour, preferably 2-3 hours after Atticus has eaten. Not always possible when you're doing frequent testing, though. I hope Terra clears her bounce soon and gets back to those nice blues for you.
 
I suspect Terra is still bouncing from those greens...
bounces can take up to 72 hours to clear :sad:

Oooh, I like Binks' spreadsheets. Hope Terra can get to all that green and blue territory. And OTJ, Binks is a good role model. Pay attention Terra.
 
Hi Karen:

Miss Terra is having a bouncy day I see. Not unusual. And we sometimes see them pop up early and then back down...if you factor in meter variance of 20%, it's not really that much up.

Hope she clears it for you soon. Looks like a save a strip and get some sleep night.
 
i'm thinking the same thing - have a night off and get some rest, karen! terra will keep you up another night when she needs you. she'll come down in the next day or two.
