PMPS 173 Took a random +9 earlier, was 165...Mikey is cruising the Blue Lagoon today! Hopefully he can settle in here and then I can assess if we need another increase in a few more days; I do want to give it at least a week, maybe even two as the PS come down slower. I suspect I may want to try a new vial of insulin before increasing, though...doing both could be scary! This vial is obviously still working but whether it's as potent is the real question. It's 2 months old, so should last another month or so, but we'll see. For now, I'm pretty happy with Mikey's numbers though I sure am jealous of all the OTJ's I see recently!

+2 151...Not so pretty! Where's that green, Mikey?! Bouncette? Air draw (saw the insulin go in but these syringes are so inconsistent! Blah!)?

There have been a few OTJ's over on health lately...wish Mikey was working on being one of them...

+4 133. Flat, but hey, flat blues are better than flat yellows, right?! I really think the issue is with the syringes...drawing the same way, to the same place doesn't mean the same amount of insulin. I can live with air...it's next to impossible NOT to get any air, and I think I've gotten used to it, but with these ones, the air isn't consistent like with the others, I don't think. We're going to try another brand when these run out and hope to be more consistent.
 
Definitely recommend you try a new bottle before a dosecrease - case in point Vyktor last night!!! Thanks for your support.

I nearly gave Vyktor a complete air shot this morning, thought I had drawn the insulin out and was very impressed with the lack of air bubbles in it until I started adjusting for the dose and realised no excess was spraying out of the syringe, given my state this morning it was lucky I did realise :lol:
