I'm sorry I'm so terrible about signing in with Johnny Cat. Please don't hold it against him!
Johnny experienced his first blizzard yesterday/today! 20 inches of snow and high winds/thunder/lightning and snow late last night. He had fun watching Brian shovel a bunch of snow today and pretty much kept to his usual routine of entertaining himself with his favorite mice toys, sleeping, people watching/letting people see him in the window and repeat cycle.
I'm wondering if a dosecrease is needed or if we may have aging insulin. We opened it 11/24, so that's possible and we traveled with it twice. He still hits some good greens at times, but people who have known Johnny since the beginning will remember how much he loves having fresh insulin to take drops from.
I'm also wondering about our meter battery. We have a Relion Micro and have never replaced the battery. Does the meter tell you it's time or does it just stop working? Ours is 9 months old at this point.
