you posted u were doing well till Lantis, just wanted give you hope because the lantus takes a few days to a week to get the depot in!

when did u begin Lantus?

Also, Lantus tends to have a nadir round +5-6, i was on vetsulin for about 3 weeks b4 Lantus and saw so much better numbers afterwards. of course Every Cat Is Different ECID. Just still wana give you hope on lantus!
 
Yes we are finally seeing the curve from +4-+6
I was just concerned because we were hitting the 100 on 1.25 of vetulsin and its taking 4 , maybe 5 units to get him there with lantus…..

Most of what I read showed the doses would be similar.

It was just a bit of a shock to see higher units needed.
Then I saw a few members here in that range and it made me feel a bit better

He is puurfectly fine. Hes a very mellow and tolerant cat. He is drinking alot again, and alway hungry of course.

Hopefully that will lessen as we get him back to better numbers.

We bought an auto feeder for wet food , so he can get measured mid day and mid night feedings.
