Nice surfing!

Did Cleveland get this crummy weather? All during our blizzard, I kept thinking about Cary.

We had lots of sleet, freezing rain...most wet stuff very little snow. We were at 41F. this morning. It is now 24F.

Gary was out last night (head shake) and I fussed up the lodge to stay warm. He was just by now sitting in the wet snow/ice on the back step. I put a dry rug down for him to sit on. A dry bowl of kibbies. I took Attie and tucked him in the bedroom and tried to coax him in for tonight...we're supposed to get really brutally cold... no go. He didn't run away and I got to scratch him behind the ears and he purred...but coming in was a no go. He just sat there and chatted up with MudCat.

Seeing Gary just made my day!!!! I've been having kind of a pity party today (not because of Maverick). Seeing him looking so awesome and gorgeous put a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing. Glad him and MudCat had a good chat.

Awesome +6 for Attie!!!

He is a gorgeous fellow!!! You can see he is not truly want for a meal either, nice thick coat, but I could tell he had cold paws today as he shifted from foot to foot(sucker me put down a dry throw rug for him). I was pleased to see and feel his deep thick fur coat was indeed dry! A wet coat and i might have been outside with a towel trying to physically catch him....a wet coat with our predicted cold temperatures would mean hypothermia and death for him tonight. A dry coat and a warm shelter is a whole other matter.

Last time it got really, really cold he disappeared for a few days...figure he has a warm hangout somewhere...just wasn't taking me up on mine today.
