Yesterday

Late getting the big guy's condo up. Our teaching schedules are a little nutty right now, so not as much time as we would like for the important things like LL!

After yesterday's trip to see Kate the Cat Whisperer, the feline vet tech, for anal gland expression and last night's dosecrease, he is having a better day. He is eating better, definitely getting around easier too. Numbers started stinky pinky and pretty flat later wavering around yellowish blue. Will have to see how he settles into this dose, again. :lol:

We are under a winter weather warning with snow forecast to begin tonight and up to a foot by mid-day tomorrow. We have paws crossed the timing is just right and the university closes tomorrow! :twisted:

Yeah - watch out for that "winter blast" headed your way tonight! Snuggle up tight! Good luck with the dosecrease - hopefully the Z man will work it good!

Hi Anne and Liz, glad to hear Zener is feeling better today after seeing Kate the Cat Whisperer for the anal gland expressions. She must be very good with the kitties. Nice slide and almost out of the yellowish blue range. :lol: We will be just getting our heavy rain showers this evening and overnight. Wow with the foot of snow and hope the University closes

Kind of a flatish cycle except for the stinky pinky start. Appy is better today, he is exploring his yard very carefully and it's been a two poop day! :shock: We suspect he was a bit constipated from the pain with trying to poo. He is usually a little sore the day after the "procedure" so he's actually eating and getting around better than we expected. :razz:

@Tara & Buster - yes, here comes the winter blast, last I saw was 12-17" but we don't believe it until we are shoveling it. If we get as much as predicted, path shoveling for kitty yard rounds will be necessary! :cool:

@Ann & Maggie - don't use up all that rain before you send it east to us! :lol: Don't tell Maggie Zener had a two poo day, we don't want to put any pressure on her! ;-)

@carla - we love the "better days" for sure! :-D We have paws crossed we get better numbers with this dose and if not, up we go again. We usually need to give him at least six cycles and sometimes 10 to settle in.

Nice report for the Z Man today. It's great that you have such a good vet tech.

Snow on the way and hopefully the university will be closed so you can go out and play in the snow. Have a great evening.

I'm glad to here Zener is feeling better after his visit with Kate the Cat Whisperer!!! Be safe in that winter weather - and be sure to keep Z's picnic table cleared of snow :lol: !

don't worry about us using up all the rain, it's been pretty much of a PFFFFtttthhhhhhhht winter storm here. Just enough for me to get wet running back an forth to the garage.
 
Looks like the beginnings of a slow slide tonight. I hope you wake up to better numbers and a ton of snow!
