Yesterday

Hi Everyone,

Getting a late start owing to endless paperwork (and a long schmooze with Rusty). Rusty had a good night, ate most of his nighttime food, and this morning has eaten most of his breakfast, so far. We had a good combing. He is ready for the day! I think he was starting a little bounce at bedtime last night (from the 50 earlier in the day) and that it continued into AMPS. This is often his pattern. We'll see how he does today.

It's snowing hard, but temperatures are above zero (for now). I'm really glad we rescheduled Rusty's trip to the IM specialist and ultrasound in Vermont. Now we don't have to contend with blowing snow and a rough ferry crossing. (and, best of all, Rusty gets to keep his belly fur for another month).

Wishing all a good day and continuing to send healing vines to all kitties and beans who are "under the weather".

Looks like the LagoonMeister is checking out the deep end. Time to strap on the waterwings! I had to hold the bowl for him while he ate most of his lunch. But he gobbled up the Orijen wild boar f/d treats.

Snow is really blowing today and the temp. is dropping. The deer are snuggling in their snow beds behind the barn. Three large deer heads popped up to watch me when I went out to fill the bird feeders just now.

Brrrrr it sounds like a day to stay in!

Rusty I can't wait to get your chicken soup! My wonderful, wonderful husband brought me Campbell's and Progresso. ... But last night I persuaded him to buy some at the fresh counter at our local upscale store. It was better but I'd take yours anyday!

Good thing you aren't traveling today, low cat and bad driving weather are not a good combo. Might be a good day for some ice rowing though.

Hey Rusty, are you checking for sharks? Better head for shore. Cinco said the water was a bit chilly today. He didn't stay long.

I'm sure you think I'm crazy, but I was so jealous when I read "It's snowing hard". I love snow and rarely get to see it falling. We're in the high sixties for at least the next ten days - blah! I would send you some in exchange for snow if I could!

Sheesh Rusty- way to scare the bean with that 41! Where I come from, people don't like to see deer at the birdfeeders LOL (or in our gardens!) No doubt you were wise to cancel your ultrasound appointment- that kind of weather is not meant for long distance traveling!! Stay warm Ella and have a great night!
