Morning ~O) we have a sunny yellow and not quite sure what's up with it! :? Mags did reach the Green Lagoon last night at the +4 with an 88!! Maybe eating too close to the +10. Mags seems to be feeling good, lots of chatter, good appy with the wrong food and poor appy with the low phosphorus food. I had a nice 40 minute btd with Mags and then got up to do some things and then got demanded to return to bed. It's sweet as now Mags is expecting and waiting for me in the mornings to have a btd. I think we had a good dose, good shot and now she's napping again.

Looking forward to Mannie kitteh Barista's coffee today. We are expecting a winter storm with light showers in the morning and then the real storm part hitting us this evening thru tomorrow morning. Have a nice day everyone.

Re: 2/19 Maggie AMPS 221

Very nice Maggie report. Maybe she's just a wee bit bouncey this morning after last night's visit to the lagoon. These kitties love to keep their beans on their toes, that's for sure!! I sympathize with how challenging it is to find a fuds that hit all the proper criteria. I don't know much (or anything, really) about phosphorous binders, but maybe it's time to think about one of those??? I'm pretty sure Marje uses it with Gussie.

Have a great day, Ann!

Re: 2/19 Maggie AMPS 221

Hi Amy, I wish I could use a phosphorus binder, but with her Megacolon disease, I'm afraid to chance it with the side effects of the binders causing some constipation. She was on Epakitin in her early stages of CRD, and I remember some bouts of constipation with it.

Re: 2/19 Maggie AMPS 221

Ah yes...the other factor for Mags. That's good-to-know info about phosphorous binders. You are an awesome bean, balancing all of it!!!

Big drop! I tried to steer this with a little Wellness Turkey before the shot!

Hi Amy, maybe she is just bouncy in the mornings from the greens overnight. I didn't feed Cowboy Cookout this morning which I think might have caused an overnight spike. Thanks on the balancing act. I wish I could do better with Mags.

I forgot to mention to Detective Poo no prezzies yet, but since she had them yesterday, maybe we get a poo holiday. :-D

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O)

WOW on that +3, and GO MAGGIE! I guess somebody wanted to be back in the lagoon.

It is such a juggling act with all the foods... They sure do know what they want, don't they. Mannie was like that this morning too: what he waned was not what he should have been eating. oh well.. at least he ate. Maggie - eat the stuff that is good for you too.

Love the BTB! Well done Maggie. Who can refuse them when they keep on insisting?

Enjoy your day today Ann. I hope you can get out before the rains start.

Re: 2/19 Maggie AMPS 221; +3 87

Good morning Ann. Maggie sure made a quick dash down to the green lagoon this morning. I hope she has her surfing clothes on.

Have a great day.

Re: 2/19 Maggie AMPS 221; +3 87

Hi guys ... well my my maggie! You are keeping your beanz on her toes aren't you? Ann, you do a wonderful job of balancing everything out that maggie needs :YMHUG: She's happy and healthy and that is because of you! Have a great day guys!

Re: 2/19 Maggie AMPS 221; +3 87

Hey Maggie, Rusty needs you to help watch over the lagoon today, so stick around in green, OK?

Good Morning, Ann,
You never know about the foods. Have you tried the hard-boiled egg whites as a phos. "binder"? Or do they cause constipation, too?
Have a good day. HOpe you can get out for a walk before the big winter storm hits.

Hugs,

Ella & Rusty

It looks like Mags may have a staycation day at the green Lagoon. I just went out for a short walk to empty trash and recycle, and it sure looks like some rain soon.

Hi Michelle, yes I know you have the open three cans and see which one Mannie likes. I mixed some prescription fuds, and surprisingly she ate it. I hope to get out and about a little before the heavy rain starts which isn't until this evening.

Hi John, yes Mags already had her surfing clothes on just in case.

Hi Devon and awww....thanks. Mags makes things easy for me with being such a laid back Cali kitty.

Hi Ella, will do with Mags watching over the Green Lagoon, but she says she hopes to see Rusty there, too. No, have not tried the egg whites yet, but will give it a try,

Roni, so wonderful to see you. I haven't stopped thinking of you and Moonie. Lots of love and hugs back to you.

PMPS 169

Mags was 201 at the +10, but after giving fluids, she slides down to 169.

Thanks Angela, Barb and Bruce for the visits. She managed to stay most of the afternoon in the Green Lagoon.
Detective Poo, thanks for checking in on Mags. Yes, it's getting to be a nice routine with
the nice splash in the lagoon. The btd's are hard to refuse. :-D

Another typical beautiful day for Maggie! :-D You are doing a great job managing all that is going on inside her. So nice to hear how playful and chatting she is - she obviously is feeling good. Sweet on the btb - I love it when you almost here them saying "last one to bed is a rotten egg".

Re: 2/19 Maggie AMPS 221; +3 87; +4 79; PMPS 169

That's sweet on the btb with Maggie each morning. Nice greens again today.

Thanks on all the visits. Mags is now on a little higher carb food that meets the phosphorus levels, so I'm guessing today her numbers will be on the high side.

Hi Wendy, thanks on the compliment. She is such an easy going kitty, and I love that we have the routine btd time. Sometimes she's ready for bed before me. :lol:e

Hi Carla, she has some nice greeen Nadirs and blue bookends. I try and not get caught up in the they should all be green thing. As long as they're blue and not up in the yellows, I'm happy. I don't foresee Mags ever going OTJ. She's too carb sensitive.

Thanks Mary for visiting Mags. She is a sweetie. Give Ollie some scritches from us.

Hi Ann & Tess, that's the way Mags used to be, too, just staying 15 minutes and then off to her patio watch spot. Now she wants a back massage.

Thanks Deb and Spot for visiting Mags. I'm trying not to poke her as much but still do a reasonable curve.
