Hi all!

Here we are at Sunday! Casey's AMPS was 285, and her +2 was 276. We'll see if she stays as even as she did yesterday!

Morning!

Looks like we were posting at the same time....I'm going to copy my post over here...one sec :)

Just peeked at Casey's SS and saw a beautiful yellow morning!

Since Casey had a blue a couple of of days ago, the higher numbers the day after were probably a bounce. If a cat is used to being so high up for a while, even a small drop (going into the blues...sometimes even going just to the yellows) can cause the liver to panic. It can take up to 72 hours to clear a bounce.

Personally, I would test a couple times today and if your numbers are still pretty much the same, you can consider increasing the dose by 0.25 whenever you feel best to do so. Not more than that. You've been holding the 1.50 for a while now and the numbers have been pretty steady, so that's what I'm thinking. I'm still relatively new, so hopefully others can put in their two cents in as well.

But remember that ECID and ultimately, it is what you are comfortable with. :)

Hope you're having a great Sunday!

Hi Lil!

Yeah, I could try 1.75, although my syringe only has 1 unit markings so it's going to be approximate. Casey got down into the blues for a little while, and her latest reading was 303...we'll see where she is at +10.

Wow! Way to go Casey!

Maybe then hold it for now as you are getting lower numbers in the middle of the cycle. Those purples could be a bounce since the blues were lower than she's used to. If you got blues, then I would probably stay with the 1.50...at least now until this bounce clears.

Any chance you can get the 1/2 unit markings? My vet gave me the 1 unit markings one and I still have 3/4 of the box of those. I got the 1/2 unit markings and Im using those now, figuring that I can just use the other ones when I'm back to a whole number. Just thinking of what would be easier for you. I was eyeballing it at the beginning when I started the 1.5, and its a lot easier with the mark right there. Especially if you're going to be going up or down 0.25 in the future. Up to you!

Loving the blues!
