Good morning, ~O)

Thank goodness today is a holiday and I can go BTB :-D Mr. Zeus had a beautiful string of greens from +4 until just before +9.5. He was a good boy and tolerated all the extra pokes, though he did flick his head a lot, and tried to get down too soon a couple of times. Anyway, I hope he doesn't bounce too high today.

Everything else is good here. I wasn't sure if Zeus would want to eat this morning, but he did. Not a CPC member, but then he never is... I guess I feed too much, but I leave the rest for him to graze on. Sometimes he does, other times I have to throw it away.

And here it is... Mr. Bounce ohmygod_smile Well, I guess this gives me permission to go out and do something.... But what to do? I really want new living room furniture, and today would be a good time to shop (presidents day sales) but I am hesitant since I have had issues with my friend Zeus getting sick on the furniture, and scratching the corners. In addition, Miss Smokey has problems with her poo (she gets lactulose) and she has left pieces of poo on the couch. Any wonder that I consistently have throw blankets all over the place now? :lol:

Hi Kathie! How about, for now, just purchasing some inexpensive, washable slip covers for your furniture and maybe a few snazzy decorator pillows to give it a new look?
 
Zeus is still bouncing I guess, knock on wood, at least he didn't go too high - anti jinx. He didn't sit still for the test, but ate really well, and the shot was fine.

Off topic post:

Kat, I do have some slip covers and throw pillows as well, but they are a pain in the you know what. I don't know if its because I have the big overstuffed furniture of 20 years ago, or if I would have this problem anyway, but the covers never stay tucked in... I have to fix them every time someone gets up. It is nice that I can take them off to be washed though. :smile:

I did go furniture shopping, but I didn't fall in love with anything. I am taking a few days off next week, so I may try again. My living room is weird, it's a really old house and everything is built off of the living room, so I have 6 doors, 1 doorway without a door, and 2 windows, so very little wall space to put furniture against.
