Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) And another green morning in Tessville!   Mannie, I'll take a double o everything this morning! Just not sayin' nuttin!  :-D :-D :-D :-D

Thank you for all the vines and prayers for DM. She continues about the same, very weak and sleeping most of the time. What concerns me most is that she eats very little and has trouble swallowing. Your continued prayers are most welcome.

Emma had an outside adventure again yesterday. new harness and leash, which again freaked her out. this time she got out of the harness right away and just went under a big aloe where we played hide and seek. She didn't try to run away, but she definitely wanted to be out and about. Last night she was quite upset w/ me as i left the harness on her so she would get used to it. cat(2)_steam

Re: 2/18 tess AMPS~81

Morning Ann and nice green for Tess. Little Mags is already there with her in the Green Lagoon. Oh no with the harness for Emma! Sending good vines for Emma to get used to collar and leash. Continued healing vines for your DM. I hope they can do something to help her with the swallowing.

Morning Ann and John ~O) ~O) ~O)
Auntie Ann, Uncle john! You guys are so mega awesome! I will brings you double of everything! and some scones - they are my new line... pumpkin today! Very good eatins. heeheehee.... I'm not sayin' nuthin' either. On my way! Watch for me... ~~ Mannie, kitteh barista

Continued vines for your DM. My DF struggled wit pneumonia and its aftermath for sometime when he was a senior. I understand how tough it is for them. I hope she will feel more herself soon.

Emma is great - love the outdoor adventures. and the harness and leash. amazing how they can get out of them so easily. I tried one once years ago with a new kitty. it lasted one minute and he was out of it... I remember reading on the board here about a few members who have found escape proof harnesses/leashes - wish I could remember who they are. Barb of Barb and Checkers maybe? Nice though that Emma didn't try to run away. Excellent on leaving the harness on so she can get used to it - should help I would think.

It is a very nice start for Tess today. Love the green !  Love it too that she is staying in good numbers all the time. Way to go Tess, and I hope it remains that way.

Have a great day today.

Re: 2/18 tess AMPS~81

Hi guys .. what a sweet looking start to the day! I sure hope your DM get's her appetite back and starts swallowing more easily .. Poor emma with the harness on all night .. well, hopefully that helps her get used to it so it won't scare her so much in the future .. have a great day guys!

Re: 2/18 tess AMPS~81

Muffin and Tess are very close this morning! What a sweetie Emma is, I hope she gets used to the harness quickly. And I hope our girls can enjoy a day at the lagoon together!

Re: 2/18 tess AMPS~81

Good Morning Ann

Gorgeous start for Miss Tess. Good day for the lagoon in sunny Calif.

I'm sending prayers and healing vines for your mom's swallowing. That must be a terrible feeling for her.

I had a little dog, who could/would squiggle backwards out of every single harness I bought. We took her to PetsMart once and the associate couldn't fit her, so a smart-aleck manager, came and bragged about how she knew how to fit the dog.
You guessed it!! Becky backed out of it, lickity split.

Wish I'd had this one for her

Checkers loves it, and whines to get into it , knowing he is going out. He cannot get out of it. I think it might be comforting, like the Thunder Jacket, for dogs.
Clancy uses the same one...it's very adjustable.

Doesn't mean Emma would like it though.

Re: 2/18 tess AMPS~81 +3~114

Hi guys,

Emma is a free spirit and it's hard to see how a free spirit would adjust to a harness and leash. Good luck!

Tess, Rusty wishes he could have spent more time in the lagoon today, but the day was one of disruptions and he elected to stay mostly on shore. Maybe tomorrow, when he gets back from the vetty (well, maybe later in the week!!)

Ann, continuing to send positive thoughts to your DM. I hope she will rally.

Enjoy the evening,

Ella & Rusty

Great day for Tess! Emma is a bit of a rascal.  She's not going anywhere. Sending healing energy for DM. That pneumonia is nasty stuff.

Re: 2/18 Tess AMPS~81 PMPS~58 shave!

Well, I blew it. With the +11 of 46 I told John to give her a little LC, I should have waited until the preshot test to see if she needed boosting up. I was distracted by Emma who had just had a major pee accident and didn't think it through! ohmygod_smile So the PMPS is food influenced and we test a lot tonight!

This was the 4th under 50 in 10 days so I shaved Tess's dose a drop. On the caliper I went from .75 to .70mm and we shall see. I really was torn, since I didn't want to see this run of nice numbers to end! :? Tess is notorious for not holding her decreases!

DM is not rallying as we had hoped and still isn't eating. The surgery to insert a feeding tube was not advised as it would be so hard on her in this condition. So we think the end isn't far off. Thank you for all your concern.

Re: 2/18 Tess AMPS~81 PMPS~58

(((Ann))) Don't be so hard on yourself... you have a LOT on your plate right now.

I am so sorry to hear your Mom isn't doing well. I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers, and sending healing vines your way. xoxo

Re: 2/18 Tess AMPS~81 PMPS~58

Lovely numbers for Tess today, I'm hoping for just the tiniest of bounces so you can get some rest.

You do have a lot on your plate with DM and Emma! My DMIL had a feeding tube after a stroke and kept on trying to get it out. It was sad to see. I'm sending healing snowflakes and vines for your DM and calming vines to you. :YMHUG:
