Mannie had a nice blue surf last night - mid level blues. I thought that maybe he would find the greens after the 3.5 test, but as the night before he leveled off there, surfed the night in that spot. We seem to have bounced yet again back to the pinks. Mannie: enough of the pinks already! Funny - same amps as yesterday. The +2 is encouraging. :-D

Mannie is his usual furry purry self this morning. Another morning where I had to drag him from the nanner pile, nanners hooked in the claws, in order to test feed and shoot. :lol: :lol: Breffis was greeted with his happy feed me quick dance: the boy loves to eat - nanners were forgotten at that point. :o He did spend alot of time supervising my attempts at getting ready - guess I did OK, he left me with a rub to the leg, a purr, a gentle meow. All is well in MannieLand.

I went to be last night leaving Mannie up, burning the midnight oil - seem he was feverishly consulting his cookbooks, muttering something about needing the perfect fuds for today's' full moon party, muttering more about how do you cook snow, and alot of woots over new found recipes.... lookout kitties - the chef is in his element. :lol:

KITTIES!! Are you ready???? Party time to celebrate the Full Snow Moon! The roadster is all packed: I have lots of fleece and hats and boots and scarves for all of us so we will be warm. The roasters' stove is bubbling with hot tuna toddys - we are all set for our journey to Camp Stu. See you guys soon. :cool: :cool:

Mannie enough with these pinks, you know the colour doesn't suit you.
I am glad to hear he is doing well and in full chef mode. Tray approves of the menu and can't wait for the party.

Hey Chef Mannie, Awesome menu, man! I'm here at Camp Stu already, getting the grill and fire set up, and making sure the ice is safe for skating and ice fishing. Lots and lots of snow and more on the way. It's gonna be windy with falling temps tonight, so it's good that you have lots of blankets and the stove in the bus. Our pals will appreciate that, and, of course, the hot tuna toddies to sip as they travel. This is going to be a wonderful party. See you later! Full Snow Moon, here we come!

Hi Michelle, good that Mannie is coming down today. He needs good numbers for the festivities tonight! Hope you have a good day, too. The weather here at the moment is awful: rain, 45 degrees; but it's supposed to improve and sunshine is predicted for this afternoon. I hope the night will be clear, too. Really want to see that Snow Moon!
I used the Gaia GPS app when I went for a walk in the village yesterday. This is the one that uses the USGS topo maps. It is really good. It is also for the Droid. Check this out: http://www.gaiagps.com/wiki/user_pages

Looks like that full moon dragged Mannie up to the pink floor too. So many kitties started the day off there it's uncanny. Of course all is well in Mannie Land, his nanners secure, etc.. he's a steady boy that way. And he works so hard to come up with those menus! I can imagine the little kitty "woot" sounds! :lol:


Mannie, I'm so excited!! Thank you for coming to pick me up tonight- I'm all ready to curl up in the fleece and sip that tuna toddy! The menu sounds soooo awesome- you're gettin' all Top Chef on it! The soft crab sounds irresistable- can't wait!

I need all the help I can get in that department - no sense of direction at all, and my bad! -- sorry for the awful weather - it is sunny here and 35. go figure. I need to grocery shop, but after that headed on out for the usual hike here. I am so glad that I am within walking distance to some very nice stuff. :-D We had clear skies this morning - the moon! Gorgeous, and bright - exceptional! I hope tonight will be as good.

Wow...between the Full Snow Moon and all the mental preparations for the party, Mannie somehow forgets to focus on his numbers!! Oh Mannie....can you get a grip of the BGs too? Well, I guess you are so busy with everything else....you can do that another time. The menu sounds totally awesome....

Mannie and I are so saddened to learn of the passing of Blackie. We will miss you, you will not be forgotten. Mannie and I have lit many candles, to help guide you on your crossing to the rainbow bridge. Fly free little one.

Hi Pat - :lol: :lol: Multi -asking must not be one of his strong points. At least the +6 is in the right direction. I hope he can stay here, maybe find a little blue, set up a good surf. Paws crossed.

Hi Anne - so true. We seem to have alot of them starting out pink. I am happy with his +6. YAY!

Moonie & bro are toiling oiver a giant pot making the snow sauce (lobster sauce with shrimp & clams) to go over the soft shell crabs!!! Gee, they wont even give me some!!! -Hugs from us!

Mannie and his buddy, Gracie are bouncing today. Gracie and Tobey are counting the minutes to the party.

Mannie...we need to have a special remembrance for our beloved Blackie and a moment of silence at the party. We will all miss him so much.

It always cracks me up how Willie can completely be focused on something, until there is food involved... then all bets are off!! Sounds like he and Mannie are kindred spirits!

I could have sworn I posted to your condo, but I don't see me here yet! I am glad to see Mannie coming down. Wow, that menu by Mannie is outstanding. Maggie is raring to go and will borrow any scarves, hats, etc, available. See you soon. Yes, a special remembrance of Blackie would be nice.

Glad to see Mannie cooperating and coming down some for you.

Sad day in LL with Blackie's passing and also the passing of Pat's DSIL. Rememering them in our prayers.

For all my friends: we will take time tonight at Camp Stu to remember Blackie. I miss my friend. I think we can all say what we want, and also have a moment of silent tribute. Rusty and I have set aside a perch at camp Stu which will remain empty, in memory of our friend. ~~ Mannie

Hi Christie - Yep! Mannie would be so there too. he hears anything food related and he right there. The boy does like his fuds.

And Georgia - I missed you too... :oops: It is nice to see the lower numbers - very happy to see that. And yes.... such a sad day. Blackie has been a part of our community for along time. I was so sorry to read about Pat's DSIL.

Hi Cheryl - thx! it is kinda funny. its' like: noooooooooooooo, don't take me away from my nanners, ohhhh wait, there's food? And thx too on the night - it's mellow, and relaxing. perfect.

Hi Marjorie - do you believe it? sure looks like another blue surf. most unusual pattern - not one hint of a dive ()anti-jinx), just a slow slide down. actually - it's kind of perfect. would be awesome if it was green - but i'll settle for this - surfs up, and it's up early. we will see where he goes with it. :-D

A nice blue surf here for Mannie. Keep it up Mannie. No skin diving allowed.

It's so sad about our Blackie. He will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to Ele and her hubby. I'm so glad that the kitties will be holding a special tribute tonight for Blackie.

Tori and her little brother Malachi left for the party quite awhile ago. She's not feeling her best today I don't think but there was no way she was going to miss paying her respects for Blackie.

Have a good night. I'm off to work soon. Full moon nights are always interesting on the ward.

Hi barb - I guess he listened to us - no diving in evidence tonight.

SO true on Blackie - they have been a part of our little group for so long - I shall truly miss him.

I will have to ask Mannie to keep an eye out for Tori, and take care of her. I'm sorry she's not feeling her best today. He will watch over her.

M y mother was a nurse for years. She used to say how strange things happened on the full moon. Crazy nights while on shift. She worked graveyard for the longest time too until she switched to swing. I hope you have a good but not crazy night.
