It's hard to interpret Hadley's last 2 cycles. Too much insulin, not enough? Stress from him sensing I'm stressed? My crazy work schedule yesterday? I won't be able to curve this weekend either wich makes things worse.

Ahhh gotta love the pre-travel jitters.

When you do leave? I hope it's a fast trip and all goes well with your furbabies while you're gone. It's awesome that you have a vet tech that will stay at the house. That should ease some of your stress.

I was in Petsmart yesterday and we walked by the adoptable kitties. There was a beautiful black kitty with awesome gold eyes and of course I thought of you. She was a sweetie and it broke my heart to leave her there. I don't know why I go down that section.

Have a great day and take a few moments for yourself to de-stress.

Well, I think fluctuations and odd high/low numbers happen with any cat on insulin, but especially those who are headed you know where. Maybe his pancreas hiccuped or took a nap. Looks like he is back on track today.

I can't even look at the adoption kitties in PetSmart. I want them all to come home with me every time. Sigh....

Do we have a graphic for a hiccuping pancreas???

(could not reply to this yesterday with the news about Klinger :YMSIGH: )

No graphic, but it would look like me when I start to do something and then forget what it was

Laura, I just checked out your boys 'SSs - had to get my HaRley/HaDley fix today. I know you are busy getting ready for your trip - and probably feeling numb over Klinger's crisis as we all are. Just wanted you to know you were not forgotten and wish you a safe flight and as little stress next week as possible.

Any decisions yet on how you will have the vet tech dose them while you are gone? Looks like 1u is good for HaRley. I would hesitate to have her shoot .25u for HaDley. Maybe .15u or .2u?

I also had to have my HaRley and HaDley ss fix today. Both boyz are looking great! Wishing you a safe flight and a quick and painless trip (business trips always give me a pain ;-) )
