Increased Toby to 16.5 this morning to see if we could see more green. I didn't give the R this morning
because he tends to go low when we first change his dose. He has been doing good just trying to lower his numbers a little bit more. Take Care, Peg and Toby

No I asked thee Vet. and she said their was no need to do it. Said I was going to have to give more insulin until I had a break through. So don't know if he's acro or IAA BUT HE'S ON 16.5 units of Lev. and I have been using .5 R when he has high numbers.

Peg, I'm grumbling, too, about your vet's response. My vet wasn't very optimistic I'd learn anything useful with the tests (Polly was tested for both acro and iaa), but I brought the forms in to submit to MSU with the blood draw and he did it.

Since the results came back positive for both, vet just lets me do what I want to do. He's been very supportive just in a passive sort of way. Sorry your vet doesn't see the value in knowing.

But, Toby's got you. And you sure are doing great for him.

I didn't give the R this morning because I did a dose increase. I should of done it though
because he is high tonight. Gave .5 units of R tonight . Will see how we make out tonight.
