Yesterday's Condo

Gabby was ready and waiting for me to serve her breakfast. I swear, I wouldn't need an alarm clock if she were more assertive about letting me know it was time to eat!

It's cold here. We had some snow (not much) yesterday but the temps have been frigid. What I don't understand is why so many schools are either closed or openings are delayed. This has happened all winter. Someone on FB who is also new to the area commented that she thought the people in Columbus were winter wimps.

Kitty tummy clocks tend to be pretty accurate. I guess that's why they don't understand DST switches!

My sister, who lives about an hour southwest of Cleveland, said it was -12 the other day. She move there three years ago after 40 years in AZ. She's still trying to adjust!

Cleveland IS bad compared to Columbus, lake effect snow. I lived there for a year when I worked for the USDA. Columbus however, I don`t understand like Sienne said everytime we have 2 inches of snow they close the schools here. I grew up here and believe me they DID not do that when I was growing up. I don`t remember them ever closing the schools.
