Yesterday

Hi Everyone,
Rusty had a good night. We have a few inches of new snow and will be leaving soon for our picnic at the lean-to on Grassy Pond. Edward has some firewood and we have the hotdogs, grill sticks, mustard and rolls all ready to go. I'll be on my new skis, Edward on snowshoes. We have a group of 12.

Hi again,
We had a wonderful day in the snowy woods and grilled our hotdogs over a lovely fire. The snow was over a foot deep on the trail and much deeper than that in the woods. I had to shorten my ski poles! My new skis and boots performed fabulously. It was a treat to ski on them.
Rusty ate almost all of his breakfast and about half of the lunch/snacks we left for him in his automat. He was happy to see us this afternoon. Now we're all going to have a nice evening.

I bet the hot dogs were fantastic....grilling them over a fire is always yummy but after a good workout, they're even better!!

Yo Rusty.....I wondered where you was today....I guess you had to stay home and guard da house while da beans was out playing in da snow!
