Yesterday's Condo
Good Morning everyone! Luci broke the bounce nicely yesterday and had a nice little run in the lagoon. I hope this means she's settling down after her I-131 treatment where everything seemed just off the rails for such a long time.
She appears to be feeling like her old self and is eating, pooping, peeing and playing well...one of my multi-vitamins slipped and hit the floor this morning as I was sorting thru them and putting them in the weekly pill case and of course she didn't miss a beat chasing it down...and forced me to jump up immediately to retrieve it before it got away from us both under the furniture or where ever else those things go to disappear!
It's quite warm and humid here this morning with a sultry 75 degree start - there was supposed to be a cold front coming thru with a little rain last night, but we're still waiting for that...I don't think it rained much...and it's certainly not any cooler. I understand that we're the warmest place in the entire US this morning (as reported by our friendly weather man)...and we're very happy to be here in this nice warm spot.
Yesterday my son and I went for a nice walk around the preserve, saw some lovely birds and then went for a swim as it was such a hot and muggy morning. A delightful way to start the day. We ended it by grilling steaks outside and had a nice dinner at home. He's delayed his return due to the crazy storms up the road so we'll be able to enjoy his company for a few more days.
